The food was just as authentic as many Mexican restaurants in the US. The chicken burritos are great, the chips and salsa as well. The beer cold. My wife said her meal was good as well. The drinks are unique and delicious.

We loved eating there. The atmosphere, the staff, the food was just great. They have great margarita recipes.

So the happy hour is 4-8pm daily (at least from dec 30 thru Jan 20). I'm not sure if it changes during the prime season. We come here every time we are in Florence and tire of the great Italian food. The food is ok Mexican. It seems like they may have changed from using fresh avocados to using prepared... More

Visiting Florence for a relaxed evening, we divided for Mexican. The atmosphere is very easy going. The staff is friendly. LOVED the colors and music. The food was very good. We tried a variety of dishes that were spicy and delicious. Great for when craving spicy.

Ok, so if you are wanting a break from all that amazing Italian fare, you'll really enjoy this place. We sat out on the sidewalk and had some great burritos and nachos. Excellent service and a great little restaurant.

Eat here one lunchtime. Order Nachos for starters and fajitas for main course. Food was ok quality but would have expected more given the price. Service was ok - only 1 waiter working during the lunchtime. Ok Mexican food but not great value for money

The most amazing frozen margaritas! Stopped in after seeing other peoples drinks and it was def the right decision, ended up ordering nachos as well which are also a must. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere - good size portions as well!

We visited during happy hour and the place was quiet. Received great first cocktails with Nachos very quickly. Really enjoyed both and would have loved to try more drinks but it was difficult to get return service to the table. The only reason I can not give it full stars and would definitely return when in Florence.

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
