This place has a fun atmosphere and good drinks, but if you are going for Mexican food you are used to in the USA, or Mexico, this place may not be for you. My meal, a chicken quesadilla was pretty good, but my dining companions weren't quite so lucky. When I asked one what they ordered and they said tacos,... More

After 8 days of Italian we try to find a something different to eat after looking all the reviews and recommendations from our local friends we went there with lot of exception and it was simply good. Good drinks and cocktails as well as the food. Food portions are good and worth for money. Nicely decorated and well managed.

I had the prawn taco-delicious! Hubby had the jalapeño burger-he loved it! Ribs were chewy but tasty. Nachos made to design were divine!!!! Such a funky place! Staff were quick and friendly!

The food is good and the Margs are subpar. The staff was extremely slow and very sassy. They took forever just to take our order and the restaurant wasn't even half way full. I usually shrug my shoulders, but it was just plain terrible.

Cool mexican restaurant in Florence. Friendly staff and the food is good... (and a lot spicy :D) If you like spicy food worth it!

I love Mexican food anywhere, but to find this Dimond when you less expect it between million pizza and pasta place is just fun. Cool atmosphere, busy but not too crowded, huge menu perfectly done. The happy hour is amazing because of the price 1+1 for all drinks, yet the thing is those drinks are soo good and strong. Perfect... More

As far as European Mexican food goes, this wasn't bad! Definitely the best nachos I've had here! Good margaritas, not super strong though. The place was busy, the service was fast and friendly! Clean bathrooms! Definitely recommend for when you're over Italian food. :)

Made an account just to tell everyone how TERRIBLE this place is. Such horrible service, we did not even get margaritas until after an hour and a half, and the waiters were not even apologetic or offered anything as compensation. We would have understood if there were technical problems or they were understaffed or even if the place was packed,... More

There was nothing special about the food and it was quite overpriced for the quality. The nachos had barely any toppings and the burritos weren't filled as much as they should've.

Coming at you live from the seat right now. 3/14 of our Margs were forgotten and now 3/14 plates of dinner have been forgotten (the rest of the table has finished their meals). Wouldn't recommend but I haven't had Mexican in 3 months so I take what I can get.

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
