If you are looking for an authentic Italian restaurant this is the one. MFrom the first moment that you get in you realize that the restaurant is special. An Italian friend of us recommended this place and we were not disappointed. The inside decor is...beautiful and relaxing. The menu is a perfect mix between meat and fish. I had the steak, my wife had fish menu and the kids as well.The dishes were great, very tasty and the right portion. We were greeted by the owner and he explained to us the history of the restaurant and his passion about his job. A special mentioned to Valeria, she served to us and she was very sweet. I went to the restaurant for dinner by myself and the staffs were pretty nice and kept me accompanied! Satisfied with all dishes I had, especially their tiramisu was a must-try:)

My first night back to Florence and this was where my Italian friends wanted to take me. It was so lovely from the atmosphere to the service to the first, second and main courses. This was my favorite dining experience during my stay in Florence.

Went to Caffe Italiano today and got the Tagliolini Al Tartufo fresco (Tagliolini Fresh Pasta with Fresh Truffle) along with a Negroni. Food was good but service was not. Waitress not very attentive.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. My friend and i remained more than satisfied and would be modest if i say is good. The STEAK and the pizza are the highlights. The cheese and meat plater was superbe. Herman took very good care of us and...made sure everything was right.More

This place was great! Food was delicious, service was excellent, and location was perfect for us. If you are staying near Santa Croce you must go, great mix of locals and tourists like us. They have a great wine selection and Talisker behind the bar....Matteo was very accommodating, can’t go wrong here.More

We were a late walk-in after arriving in Florence later than planned and they were super accommodating. The food, service & decor are all fantastic. Can't recommend enough and we shall certainly be returning on our next visit.

We discovered this place while wandering around the side streets near our AirBnb looking for somewhere to eat that evening. It looks quite unassuming from the outside but the interior is well thought out and very well done. The choice of dishes is enough for...the size of the restaurant and so many to choose from. A lot of traditional Tuscan dishes, a lot of local people eating in there. I ordered the tagliatelle with wild boar for my first course, it was so tasty, my wife had the prawn dish from the Chefs special seafood menu. The quality and the taste was far better than anything we’d had during our stay in Florence. My second course was a fillet beef and my wife had the sea bass dish, both well cooked and very tasty. I’ve seen reviews where people say the service was slow. It wasn’t, there was no pressure to clear your dish and move onto the next course or pay and get out. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and helpful and ask for feedback on the dishes when they serve them to you. Our total bill with a bottle of wine, coffees, limoncello and two courses each was €128. Considering we paid €115 for a meal in one of the main piazzas a few nights earlier, this place was well worth the money and the quality surpassed anything we’d eaten during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place and I would eat there again, thank you for a great evening and a lovely meal.More

Service felt a bit shambolic. Turned up with a booking and they didn’t seem to know about it and almost turned us away… sat down and waited for ages to get served, brought beers over without glasses and all the staff seemed really angry. I...think you could see they were quite stressed but it didn’t feel overly busy… Both had pizzas that weren’t good, i ordered a pizza with burrata but it was clearly just a really small ball of buffalo mozzarella instead… and because the pizza had no tomato sauce… without the burrata it was just super dry. My partner had a pizza that was also super dry. Also on top of this we were sat by a fan that was literally blowing the rocket off my pizza which was comical but also, not ideal We did intend to have desert but after all that didn’t want to risk it In general just a bad experience top to bottom and wouldn’t go back or recommendMore

Chicken liver pâté was excellent… followed by tender pork ribs for me and a spicy chicken dish for wife… both very good! Service was very good at lunch and entire room of 12 people got very good attention

The pizza was amazing and the staff were friendly and attentive! We walked in off the street and they looked after us well. Highly recommended!
