Poor food, limited wine list (but expensive), reasonable service, very expensive overall. We ate at a small local restaurant the following evening and it was much better and cheaper. Avoid this restaurant!!

My aperitivo in giubbe Rosse was not the one of the best: I received my glass and then I was addressed to a table inside where I could eat something. Few stuff, cold pizza and In the meanwhile other people were enjoying nice dishes of...More

We only had coffee because this bar is supposed to be historical, but it has changed to a more modern version. So we are sort of disappointed.

We actually went here twice for lunch when we were in Florence. The best lasagna in Italy! Wonderful al fresco seating so you can relax and people watch while you dine. Very nice servers and good prices. Our whole family loved Giubbe Rosse!

Amazing happy hour buffet. Sandwiches, pizza, melon and prosciutto, pasta dishes and more. Drinks are 8€ which is reasonable for a lovely outdoor bar with comfortable seating. Service requires patience but not a big deal.

Perhaps it's not perfectly fair to rate a restaurant by one's expectations based on descriptions in guidebooks, but we were hoping for something much more attractive, much more classic, and much more historically authentic. The décor is not what one would expect for one of...More

Mid afternoon and the crowds were thinning... perfect time to stop for a snack or early dinner. More people were enjoying the “happy hour” drink and buffet... we shared a pizza, which was tasty. Not keen on the mushroom, plain ‘margarhetta”might have been best.

Good experience, appetiser for two people 20€, with some food included. Drinks and sandwiches/snacks worth their price. For foreign tourists: this is an historical cultural coffee. In the XIX century some Italian literates met there. 4 stars

I found Giubbe Rosse to be a dishonest tourist trap. In short, the price I was told at the door was different to the price when I asked for the bill. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. I was searching for a place to...More
