My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant and it was a great dinner! Of course the restaurant isn't in the old city. But the walk isn't far away and to walk in a beautiful city even in a November night is nice! The welcome was lovely and the waiter was excellent. We followed the recommendations according the catch of the... More

Our third visit to Fuor d'acqua in the last 15 years. Our first visit was when it first opened and it was a rustic trattoria, now it's a fine dining seafood destination. The seafood is fresh and delivered everyday from the coast so the menu depends on what is freshly caught and brought into the fish market daily. The dining... More

This was without doubt bt one of the best meals we have had. From the raw/sashimi intro, to a succession of three 'appetisers' - the siscilian red prawns delicious as was the olive mash with small goujons of sole, on to a perfect squid risotto, langoustines and a baked ?sea bass with vegetables this was perfection. DElightful and professional service,... More

By far the best seafood restaurant in Florence and personally one of the best anywhere... When you come in you come in for the quality of the fish...nothing complicated, no tomato sauce, no harsh seasonings, no garlic...you come in for , in my view, primarily "crudo "..pasta is great as well..beautiful decor, service is good enough..great selection of wines..for the... We went as a party of friends for dinner on a recommendation. It is well recommended. On entering one is met by a large tray of fresh fish on display. The tables, their setting and linen, thefood and service are all first class. This is a most impressive high class fish restsurant eminently suitable for a memorable evening out.

I love seafood and I must have been to dozens of seafood restaurants in Europe. Fuor d'acqua is one of the best I have been to, and could be the best in many respects. Simple decor yet masterfully executed means great ambience, service by competent yet sincere waiters and a genuinely friendly and lovely hostess, and utterly fantastic food make... More

We went to Fuor d'Aqua a few days ago before leaving Florence. It was touted as a great fish restaurant. It was a nice restaurant and the food was quite good but we had the most off-putting experience. We were seated and there, very clearly was a bar in the front of the restaurant. My husband asked for a martini... More

Fuor d'acqua is one of those places where you go for special occasions (unless you are extremely rich), because it's a very classy place and tends to be rather expensive. But every euro spent here is extremely well spent, the quality of service and food is at its highest, dishes are refined and a full course meal won't leave you... More

Our 3rd visit over the last few years and it only gets better. The food is a welcome break in Firenze from the Tuscan meat and/or pasta. Fish is gotten to the restaurant fresh daily. Staff goes to meet incoming boats to get the best of the best. Service is exceptional. Our waiter asked what we liked, suggested choices and... More
