Ate lunch at Boccadama on a rainy afternoon in Florence. The pouring rain drove everybody inside of restaurants and stores on the square, so it was a bit chaotic inside. We were a bit crammed in to a small room in the back with our stroller. I was initially going to order pizza, but was told there would be a... More

Thank you for your review, we are happy that you enjoyed your lunch at Boccadama! We are very sorry if you had to wait too much, that was due to the particular rainy day. Starting from april we'll have more place outside with other tables and there will be more space for our customers. We hope to meet you again... More

Came into the restaurant at 12:50 to see one of the areas filled with a group of tourists. Wanted a light lunch. So we ordered 1 dish and a beer each. We ordered: Spaghetti with garlic: non descript. Papardelle wirh wild boar sauce: the sauce was excellent. Minestrone soup: the soup was very good and hearty. 3 beers 3 cofees... More

They say "beware of restaurants with English menus", but we found Enoteca Boccadama to have excellent food at a reasonable price. Service was friendly and attentive. Plus of being on the square by the Basilica di Santa Croce!

What a lovely find! Boccadama is situated on Piazza Santa Croce. We were so glad that we stopped here for dinner. The first courses were large, perhaps a little too large but delicious! We had Pappardelle with wild boar: pear and pecorino ravioli both were really tasty, we also had carbonara, the carbonara sauce was a little too thick but... More

Had a late dinner here on the plaza outdoor seating, very nice. Service was good and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced

We dropped in for lunch on the advice of our tour guide (Julia), she claimed that Boccadama had great lasagna. She was right, the lasagna was excellent as was the Spaghetti Carbonara and the local Chianti. Service was qick and friendly and the prices were very reasonable, especially given their prime location.

Went here for lunch when we were walking round Florence. We had a glass of Prosecco each and shared a rustic pizza. The drink was quickly served as was the pizza. Both were fine and tasty but lacked the wow factor which would elevate it to five star.

We'd been recommended this restaurant by some locals, and weren't disappointed. Arriving for a late lunch we were lucky to get an indoor window seat from which we could watch the constantly interesting passing tour groups and others, as well as admire the blue Florentine sky above the rooftops while waiting for our order. The Tuscan wine selected was excellent... More

The setting in Piazza Santa Croces divine. Outside is nice but inside is very quaint too. The lasagne was crazy good. The red house wine was paired beautifully. Florence is a wonderful place to visit and Boccadama is a must forlunch or dinner.

This place was so busy but if you are able to get a table you will not be disappointed. The service is excellent and so very fast. Had soup, a pasta dish and then a very naughty chocolate dessert with coffee and wine. Great value and the waiters are the stars. So friendly and well presented.
