It sits at the heart of the Piazza della Signoria so location-wise you cannot get more central. However inevitably you get the crowds. It is a tourist trap. When people say €6 for a Coke this is where they mean - it is insanely expensive for what it is. Admittedly the pastries are nice but there are plenty of places... More

Lovely staff and nice location. We had the ciocolata calda and it was amazing. My husband hates hot drinks generally but he loved this ciocolata calda.

Situated on a prime location on a prominent square of Italy, the ambience, cleanliness and the happy and prompt staff was perfect and complimented the delicious lunch and summery cocktails. Would surely recommend it !!

We recently visited Florence. As we explored the city, we stopped in the day prior for a coffee, the 'shakerato' cold coffee (by itself is worth a visit) and the quality of the coffee and pastry was excellent. Now for lunch the next day. We sat outside overlooking the historic square with its hordes. I ordered pasta off the menu... More

Exquisite atmosphere, great view, excellent service. Espresso was ok, though I got disappointed with their staple hot chocolate.

Caffe Rivoire is surely one of the finest restaurants to visit in Florence. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant ambience along with the peppy music. Food is extremely fresh and the pizzas were crispy and tasted great out of the oven. The seabass in particular was outstanding. Service to was good and prices were reasonable. All in all... More

I had read about this place in Lonely Planet and it didn't disappoint. The cappuccino was light and delicious made with fresh milk not UHT! We had a few small cakes and watched the world go by for an hour or so. A little pricey but considering the services, view and the standard of the food it was definitely worth... More

Opposite the Palazzo Vecchio one has the most beautiful views from the terrace of this caffe. The prices are extraordinary, but so are the surroundings. Have one drink and sip very slowly.

Owner for us was the highlight of this place :) He played with our daughter Natalie and played her a French song about her name! Swordfish was good with vegetables Wine was nice Reasonably priced for the view! We complained about 1 plate and no hassle replacement! No regrets

We spent a week in Florence attending class to learn a bit of italian. Every morning, we would stop there for breakfast. Crema e cappuccino. It was really great passing through la pizza della Signoria early in the morning almost empty. One evening we stop for dinner. We were not disappointed. The food was great and the view on il...
