My husband and I love this bar. Every single espresso we've had here has been perfect. We love the staff, they're all super friendly and very professional. After our 2nd visit they welcomed us as if we'd been going for years. We do the Italian...thing of enjoying the espresso at the bar and because it's quiet (virus time), we've had the opportunity to get to talk to some of the baristas and the wonderful ladies who take our order and welcome us as we walk in. If you're looking for a genuine Italian experience, a stunningly beautiful bar and lovely people, this is it. GrazieMore

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Unless you want to be ripped off by surly, unwelcoming waiters. This place does the city no favours. A bad advert for Florence.More

Dear Gerald, I'm very sorry to hear this comment, actually you are not explaining what happen and you had not contact any manager to complain about anything, you just run off and make a bad casual review, that's not very helpful. I'm sure we would...More

We visited here one afternoon and it was lovely sitting watching the world go by. The service was impeccable and the drinks and complimentary snacks were perfect. Yes it's a little pricey, but much more elegant than the awful terrace at La Rinscente. Some of...the other cafe's on the square can be a little pushy trying to get you to buy extra things. Caffe Rivoire did not do this (unless you asked for a recomendation). Old style elegance at its finestMore

This venue is just perfectly located and is in the very heart of Florence. The staff go out of their way to be polite and add much needed Italian charm. This location is perfect for you to sit and plan your adventures. As for the...outside eating area there a lot of heaters that allow “alfresco dining “ in the fresh February morning. The toilets are exceptionally clean ladies, a question I get asked a lot. As for the inside area it’s lovely if the weather is any colder or the wind is strong. As for the cake wow all I can say is you must come and try this for yourselves. XMore

We are visiting Florence and came across this cafe. The place looked really impressive so we decided to have a cappuccino. We got shunted around to a table. Lady at reception was very rude. Coffee was very average and the coffee cost € 6 Euro’s....We only realised later we were short changed on €20 note we gave as well. We received changed for €10. Very disappointed and did not bother going back.More

We stopped here twice during our visit to Florence. The first time was to get coffee and pastries to eat while we stood in line to get into the Duomo. They make fantastic mini cannolis. Every pastry me taste it was wonderful and the coffee...was great call. The second time we Went was in the afternoon for tea and if a snack. It was wonderful the second time as well. I would highly recommend stopping here on your way to see the sights in the morning.More

We went in because we were really hungry and the restaurant looked reasonable. Wish we’d gone elsewhere. Staff could not have cared if we were there or not. Lasagne was cold in the middle and bread was dry. Table was being cleared while I was...still eating! Would not recommend and won’t go back.More

We stopped to drink the famous chocolate. We waited for half an hour to order and the waiter didn’t care. They were impolite and we just left.

We just walked in for coffee and pastry at about 10:30 am. There was plenty of space.
