We were heading to the Uffizi Gallery first thing in the morning, so we had breakfast here - they open at 7.30! The interior is very beautiful and the breakfast was good.

Coffee and pastries are top-flight, but their pride is in their chocolates. Really very good. Not especially cheap, but service is very good. They have an omelet for breakfast, which is a break from what Florence restarants usually provide.

it is the perfect location to stake a break and enjoy the view of Palazzo Vecchio and PIazza Della Signoria. They have great pastries. It is expensive.

Near by uffizi museum. Very Kind and good interior and seat. Espresso was nice and especially chocolate was great.

Rivoire is an institution, in one of Europe's most beautiful squares. Most people come here for the coffee, but the pastries are also really excellent. Try the puffed pastry biscuits, for example, with your cappuccino. Remember you can simply order and consume directly at the bar for reduced prices (table service is more expensive). I had a very good courgette... More

We came here on a beautiful day, sat on their patio, and had the best hot chocolate and dessert. Yummy!

Do it like the Florentians do. Have a nice traditional hot chocolate at this old chocolate maker and drink it at the counter. For those who do not like the thick super sweet Spanish or Italian hot chocolate, be reassured. This one is not that sweet (but it remains real thick of course). Espresso was good too. It was real... We had some of the best food. My grandson had the prosciutto tortellini and it was to die for. Rich, creamy and full of flavor. I had a simple caprese salad and even that was SO good! The staff was very personable and accomodating. And to sit at the edge of the piazza and watch the world go by was... More

Took us many minutes to order and even more waiting for the drinks to arrive. So we just left with only a coffee. Rude staff.

We had eaten at another restaurant on the square for lunch and wanted to try something else. So sorry we did. The food was far less tasty, service slow and quite pricey. We just were there for small plates of simple pasta. Chose one of the other restaurants on the square, better food and better prices.

Thank Barbara B
