Really cannot fault this lovely restaurant. The food was delicious, including the best pizza I've had in Italy so far. The desserts were simply amazing and we were given complementary limoncello to finish. Friendly and energetic staff made us feel very welcome. Seated immediately and was well attended to throughout the course of our meal. We found the price to... More

At the side of Santa Croce is this lovely bistrot and serving locals as well as tourists. A great sign if locals are there! We shared an antipasti platter before my husband tucked into a pizza and I had grilled chicken with vegetables. Absolutely delicious, great service and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Visited the Bistro towards the end of July. Poor service and extremely hot inside the restaurant. Also, if you are ordering fish, make sure you ask for the price first (as you pay by weight). Very much on the expensive side. For a family of 3, we paid 97 Euros. They also bill you a table charge...you are better off... More

We had a fantastic meal at Baldovino. The food was excellent. Portions were generous and beautifully presented. Prosecco on arrival and a choice of Grappa or Limoncello to finish were also welcome! Staff were friendly and engaging (particularly when informed of a food allergy). The restaurant was also clearly extremely popular with locals but tourists were made very welcome. Would... More

Great food, attentive staff and pleasant decor added up to a hugely enjoyable dining experience. While I went carnivore with starters and main (it was just the moo-hungry mood I was in), the wife enjoyed a very pleasant and varied cheese board and - she reckons - the nicest pizza she's ever experienced. With a few exceptions, the wine list... More

We came across this restaurant by chance. It was the end of a long afternoon and we were ready for something really special. We weren't disappointed. The service was genuinely friendly and authentic. We had carbonara and risotto - both absolutely superb. Great flavours and lots of skill on show here. We returned again and sampled their evening menu. Again,... More

I was staying a minutes walk from the restaurant and it always sounded and looked so busy. First stop was the happy hour, drink and tapas for 6 euros, good deal! Stayed for dinner and I chose a pizza as a fellow tourist had come to dine here specifically for the pizza as it had been featured in Conde Nast... More
