We stopped here on the advise of our hotel concierge who asked whether we wanted a place that was instagram famous or a place that was high quality. We went with high quality and were not disappointed. We sat indoors in the back because the...street seating was full. The wait staff was kind and patient with our broken Italian. We were the only English speakers there which I took as a good sign. If locals are eating there, it must be good. And it was!More

Oh dear, I feel sorry for all those visiting a certain outlet on Via dei Neri (now with 3 outlets) and thinking that they are getting an authentic serving. This is the place. Full of locals on our visit and delicious. Their Le Speciali were...to die for !More

We came here on the recommendation of our B&B owner and it did not disappoint. The food is delicious, the aperol spritzes were generous and the staff are friendly and patient and seem to all enjoy their jobs. I’d definitely recommend going for lunch if...you want to avoid the lines at the other schiaccia place near the Uffizi. We went back the next day and on recognising us the barman was offering us the same drinks we had had the day before. Good vibes.More

This is a fantastic place to eat if you want great schiaccia (Florentine sandwiches) and wine (hence the name). The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The sandwiches are fantastic and the wine is great. All are reasonably priced. I would recommend this place highly...if you are looking for a great place to eat in Florence.More

We were so pleased to find this fabulous little place for lunch, just off a busy tourist area. Delicious food, good beer and friendly staff. Would certainly recommend a visit.

Focaccias were delicious, beer was fine and staff looked to be having a lot of fun. We had Meliesa, Chef, Light, I'Colo. Everything was fresh and focaccias super crispy.

Went regularly over a period of several months while living in Florence, always got La sublime, sometimes with prosciutto instead of soppressata. Always enjoyed talking to James and Marco, very fun place! 5e per schiacciata and 4-6e for a glass of wine. Good place for...abroad students on a budget!More

My favorite place in Florence to hang out and have a glass of wine or sandwich. Service is the best in the city! I’ve been everyday since I’ve been in Florence!

My wife and I came back a second time and regret that we didn’t have time for more……Excellent wine selection, very very good cold platters, crostini and hot sandwiches. Just excellent products at a fair price. The barstaff are very amicable, approachable and fun. Leo...the dog from next door comes for shirt visits some times and the chef gives a fantastic Eros Ramazotti impersonation when singing along to the radio full throttle with a spoon as a mic. Must must must visit, just perfect for aperitivi, after work or even for dinner.More

My pals suggested this place after visiting Florence a couple of months ago. The ”schiacciata” is awesome! The owner suggested which wine to pair and it was just perfect. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The place is cozy and what I could say...is that I really felt at home from the first minute! Thank you so much! I hope to be back soon!More
