If you come to Florence to see Michelangelo’s “David” and you miss the burger at Vivaldi’s on the other side of the Old Bridge you cannot go home and say you saw Florence. Team Vivaldi jump starts your day with perfect coffee and little cakes...in its charming outdoor patio, preparing you in the best possible way to explore Florence. Come back in the evening for a fabulous selection of the finest Florentine cuisine at great value. It is a local favorite too! I must add you will need two hands to eat your specially prepared burger. I recommend the “blue cheese” burger with Vivaldi’s homemade sauce, which is a family “secret” of the manager.More

If you think that Vivaldi is just a tiny gelateria hidden in San Niccolò, you are completely wrong. Since we all emerged from the quarantena, Vivaldi, like a beautiful butterfly, has come out of its cocoon and spread it wings. It began by erecting a...huge umbrella in its sidewalk patio, followed by the addition of new tables and chairs and plants everywhere for privacy and separation. Soon after this we were treated to delectable pasties to accompany our morning coffee. Then last night, it revealed its new dinner menu! The offerings are diverse, and available in full or half portions. The tastes are creative and unique. The staff, as always, are delightful, and excited about their expansion. I am a regular patron of Vivaldi and it never ceases to surprise me. So, watch out San Niccolò! You have some new stiff competition. Just wait until fall, when I suspect they invite us into their cozy, intimate and elegant back room to enjoy our dinner in a space that you will never want to leave. I cannot wait.More

Everything about this Gelateria is amazing. The staff are the kindest and most welcoming people we met in Italy ☺️🙏 The gelato is authentic and delicious!! The flavours are all natural and taste amazing. This is right on the way if you are walking to...Piazzale Michelangiolo ✨ We also needed to use the toilet here and we were pleased to see that they were sparkling clean. 👍 I went here with my friend and the staff chatted to us and even showed us what music was playing because we liked the songs ☺️😂 the staff go above and beyond and we a so grateful to have stumbled across this gem 🤗 It’s also a great price for the amount of gelato you get and the quality is the absolute best!!! 100% recommend - we tried many gelatos travelling across Italy and this was our favourite! Thank you so much ❤️More

Hands down the best pistachio gelato I’ve ever had! And I love gelato, so I have tried it a lot all over Italy. I‘be had better coffee, but my wife had an amazing tiramisu.

It's a really nice place with good gelato, cakes, coffee, hot chocolate and teas inside an old building, so if you get there is better to go inside and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Once in there you can take a peak at the lab where...all the gelato (water based) and cakes are made.More

We were walking up to the piazza Michelangelo and stopped here for some fresh orange juice and a couple of cake bites. They were all very good. Service was friendly.
