Had read good reviews of this place and went with high hopes and boy were they fulfilled. I had the sausage with black truffle and cream sauce and it was magnificent! My wife had the Risotto alla Brunelleschi and she was blown away with it. Walked away convinced we had had our best meal ever!!

There's an interesting place where to eat in Florence, really near to Ponte Vecchio, it is hidden in a narrow street ("vicolo"): Osteria Vecchio Vicolo. I've eaten a wonderful pasta fritta con prosciutto (pizza fried with ham) and carbonara pasta. The dishes where really pretty and the food superb, many congratulations! :-)

This wasn't actually where I wanted to go, but due to the other place being fully booked I reverted to finding somewhere else in the local area. How happy am I that I did?! This place is amazing. The service is VERY friendly and the food of the upmost quality. The seafood pasta is something out of this world and... More

Open at least in August unlike many but a very slow service. The pizza was good, rather than great and the wine (Ruffino, Rose) good.

You cannot go wrong with the dishes here. Our favourite are the lobster pasta and the florentine steaks. Not forgetting the delicious tiramisu.

Service in Florence pretty much sucks, however, this place seems to offer good food and good service.

Our hotel recommended this place and it was so good we went twice. Large menu with something for everyone. Good wine list and nice, open atmosphere. One visit we had a very nice and helpful waiter...the next visit, not so much. The hostess was very gracious and the food was good, so we let the one grumpy waiter slide. After... More

Highly recommend the food at this restaurant. Stumbled across this in a back alley off of the Ponte Vecchio bridge and the food was outstanding. I got the truffle sausage pasta with cream sauce. AMAZING. My sister got the CostaDina pizza (sausage, mushroom, mozzarella). Both were great. Only drawback back was there was no air conditioning which made for a... More
