It's October 20th in Florence and there's light rain. It's chilly outside and not much warmer inside. Firstly, let me say that the food was good. However, why won't the staff a.) close the door (draughty) and b.) let us sit in the warmer and largely empty part of the restaurant (still empty as I'm writing this, drinking my coffee...).... A very short walk from the Ponte Vecchio, we found this great place on our first night in Florence. Very casual and comfortable, inside or outside you can not go wrong. Dishes were well prepared and the desserts were to die for.

Lovely lunch reasonably priced in gorgeous surroundings on cobbled street in heart of Florence. Both my husband and I had the wild boar pasta and it was superb, with of course the customary bread and oil and a bottle of icy vermentino wine. A delicious lunch served by a lovely waitress in a great setting on a sunny day. Couldn't... More

What a great restaurant for our first dinner in Florence. Adele, the restaurant manager, was simply outstanding with her friendly service and perfect recommendations. All the food that Adele brought was simply the best. The Pici with Truffles was Amazing !!

Stumbled across this lovely place whilst exploring Florence. Fantastic food and service and brilliant value for money. Really nice inside aswell with the decoration. Especially liked the washing line and antique ornaments adorning the walls. If you find it you're in for a treat.

Don't miss the tuna carpaccio with savory blue cheese gelato and arugula. Exceptional! The octopus appetizer with white beans & new potatoes is also an excellent starter. My mates enjoyed creative & satisfying beef specialties and my spaghetti with fresh clams was also very flavorful. Pretty decor & attentive service rounded out a great dinner!

Fresh pasta! My Dad had his best favorite plate of spaghetti here, and my Mom loved her lasagna! The gnocchi was pretty fresh too, soft and very tasty! One of the top 3 best I've tried in the country so far. We didn't need to RSVP, just walked in and God a seat immediately. This was on a Saturday night... More

Had a lovely lunch here, came across it on our last morning in Florence so went back for lunch, Wish we had discovered it earlier in our trip as we would have enjoyed going for dinner too!

My wife and I had dinner here recently. We started with what was described as fried bread balls with ham and cheese. We are not necessary fried food people, but were intrigued by the idea of fried bread balls. What we got were not "balls", but actually fried bread sticks with ham and cheese. Tasty but not what we were... More
