I have stoped at this place every time I come to Florence since they have the best Trippa panini. It’s a great street food as locals eat it.

This is a tripe sandwich stand. We had heard about tripe sandwiches before arriving and once we found this stand packed with locals, we gave it a try. It is tasty, albeit messy as well! Reasonable choice for a snack or lunch.

Tripe is a Florentine speciality, done in a spicy sauce and served , of course, with wine. it is never a tablecloth affair, and it is always good. We visited with a Japanese friend who gave it a thumbs up.

To try when when you visit Florence, the Lampredotto sandwich is something that you love or you hate. Cow's stomach in tomato sauce or simple in a bun.

When you visit Florence you must try the Lampredotto which is tripe stewed in vegetables then cut into small pieces and put in bun. It is a local specialty, tastes good and it is very filling

When my partner and I told her mother what we had eaten, a cow stomach sandwich, she replied "No, really?" You see, my partner can be a fussy sort. Me, if you told me you found a way to make sawdust taste good I'd try...More

Great for what it is. Interesting and tasty street food of one of the local specialties. Was actually quite tasty and salty which was all nicely washed down with the local wine.

Thought you didn’t like cow stomach? Well think again! Situated in the north of central Florence, this tiny little truck does great trippa (tripe) and lampredotto (fourth cow stomach) sandwiches, gently seasoned. The proprietors serve locals and tourists alike and help contribute to a great...More

Santa Croce
Stop and stare at the beauty and symmetry of the
Basilica of Santa Croce any time day or night.
Unraveling around it are a number of architectural and
artistic masterpieces, from the Synagogue to the

the area gets busy with people who want to have fun: a
continuous flow of tourists and locals become animated
by songs and dances.
