Tripe is a Florentine speciality, done in a spicy sauce and served , of course, with wine. it is never a tablecloth affair, and it is always good. We visited with a Japanese friend who gave it a thumbs up.

To try when when you visit Florence, the Lampredotto sandwich is something that you love or you hate. Cow's stomach in tomato sauce or simple in a bun.

When you visit Florence you must try the Lampredotto which is tripe stewed in vegetables then cut into small pieces and put in bun. It is a local specialty, tastes good and it is very filling

Great for what it is. Interesting and tasty street food of one of the local specialties. Was actually quite tasty and salty which was all nicely washed down with the local wine.

Stopped by and wasn’t disappointed! Lots of people gathered in the alley waiting for this food! We knew it had to be good! Tripe served with a good seasoning. Lambrusco wine was complimenting the food well!
