We visited La Prosciutteria after wandering down the street on our last night in Firenze. The line was insane, there were people lining the streets eating, but it was 100% worth the wait. We got a gigantic charcuterie/cheese board and a tiny table with our wine, and life was perfect. It was neat seeing them prepare the boards with the... More

Fantastic spot for lunch. Great to get sandwiches to go, or, if lucky enough, a table inside. A wonderful spot close to Uffizi and Santa Croce.

Very basic eatery with a rustic ambience and outstanding platters of cheese, cured meats, olives and bruschetta with a glass of their excellent house wine. Chilled friendly vibe -- try not to miss it while in Firenze.

Found this place by accident while walking around Florence. This is an excellent local wine bar where the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the food is amazing, and great relaxing environment with air conditioning. We met an employee named David, who was extremely friendly and can recommend excellent low cost wines. This place also has excellent meat & cheese... More

Casual, buzzing atmosphere, selection of cured meats, cheeses, all Italian preserves etc, presentation is on a wood board and you can select the size, unique, very long established family owned place with a magic atmosphere. It's different and a must for anyone wanting a great Italian experience.

Enjoy inexpensive and tasty fare while watching the world go by on exciting Via dei Neri. Dario, the owner, owns a vineyard and sells his yummy sangiovese (and several other good wines) at reasonable prices. The service is always good- smiling faces and friendly chit chat. Definitely a MUST when visiting Florence.

Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
