One of the few places in Florence that still makes its own ice cream. The place is clean and tidy. The staff friendly and especially meticulous when it comes to hygiene and safety. The flavours are as delicious as they come! Bergamotto, strawberry, pistachios that...actually taste like the real thing... and many more!More

Specialty flavors as well as the traditional offerings. La Strega Nocciola has superior gelato at regular prices. This location is on the Oltarno side of the Ponte Vecchio, just a few, worthwhile, steps off the bridge. A flavor for everyone!

I had the best gelato of my life here! We stopped here at least 4-5 times during our 3 days in Florence. The pistachio and hazelnut is to die for! The staff was always friendly and let us sample as many flavors as we wanted!...Everyone needs to try this gelato!More

This was my first trip to Italy. Many people who have visited before raved about the gelato. I'm not a huge ice cream fan so I was like whatever... until I had my first gelato at La Strega Nicciola! The Buontalenti is a creamy Florentine...special, which I combined with the fragola (strawberry) and caffe. If you are in Florence give this place a try. I think you'll be surprised to find like I did that not all gelato is created equally. I don't know how they do it but the strawberry isn't icy and also not overly creamy. Best strawberry I've ever had! As our trip progressed through multiple Italian towns and cities, I became a gelato snob thanks to my start at La Strega.More

This place came recommended by a friend and I will be forever grateful. We enjoyed gelato three times in a weekend long trip and I don't feel one bit of guilt or same for it - the gelato is THAT GOOD!

Like many visitors to Italy in the warmer months gelato is a frequent treat as I tour around... I’m fast becoming an expert! La Strega was an absolute standout. Excellent in every way. Authentic, great selection of flavours, lovely service. I’ll be back.

While in Florence, went to this place twice in one day! Loved the pistacio and hazelnut gelato. Amazing. You have to go while in Florence. I think they have other locations as well!

This was my favorite gelato place in Florence. I literally came here almost everyday, I wish that was a lie. Get the lavender, the hazelnut, or the la strega nocciola. The lavender is amazing! We would watch the sunset at the piazzale michaelangelo and stop...by here after. Highly recommend :)More

After we viewed the sunset from Piazzale Michelangelo we stopped here on our walk back to our hotel. La Strega Nocciola was on my list of gelaterias to try in Florence and it did not disappoint. I tried the Chocolate Chip, Lavender and the Orange....The Orange was my favorite but all were excellentMore

Many places in Florence have the high piles of pretty ice cream that the say is gelato, but it is not the same as the gelato here. It is natural and doesn't have all the preservatives. The flavors are great. Best Gelato ever.
