We were walking late at night towards our car that was parked very closed and the gelateria was closing... We asked if he could serve us some ice cream... Yes, and that was our introduction to a superb ice cream. In the end the owner sat with us in the benches on front of his place and told us the... More

Sorbettiera is one of the best gelato joint during this trip to Italy. Its gelato is just flavourful. Texture was creamy, chewy, light but packed. Love it.

After enjoying a meal at Borgo Antico or any of the other restaurants in Piazza Santo Spirito, walk a few blocks to this little counter space on a small local piazza. La Sorbetteria has great flavors. You will be the only tourists there. It is a hit with locals. Even Florentines who swear by Vivoli across the river for great... More

A few bites and you realise that the quality of the srobet here is just superior. Try the Ricotta di Bufala and also the Lemon/Sage. Fresh and delicate.

Firenze known for its many ice cream boutiques. We read the recommendations about this gelateria so we went to find it. The gelateria is located not in the city center but not very far. The ice cream was good but I have ate much better ice-cream in Firenze.

We've been trying different gelato places throughout our three weeks in Italy. This was very good, creamy gealto but not the best we've had.

We just arrived in Florence and the first thing we did was find this gelato. We are close, so it was easy. We tried 4 flavors. The chocolate with hazelnut, the lemon sage, the peach and the florentine cream. All of them were amazing. The Floretine cream may be the best gelato/ice cream I've ever had anywhere in my life.... With all the gelato places in Florence, this definitely makes the top of the list (in the top three on my list personally!). Well worth the hike away from the tourist center and (and tourist gelato). Delicious and creamy flavors with friendly staff. Wish we had access to this all the time!
