Run, don't walk to this gem of a gelateria! I had lemon with sage, peach and pear. All three flavors where incredible! You can tell they use real fruit. My kids had straciatella and at the end where licking their fingers.

This place is off the beaten path just a little - frequented by local Italians not tourists. We especially loved (1) lemon and basil, (2) fresh mint with mint leaves, (3) crema, and (4) lime. We ended up returning several times. Everything tasted new and different with the potency of flavor for which Italian gelato is renowned.

Best gelato we had in Italy. Right on the Piazza Tasso, next to a BBQ restaurant (I'm not kidding). The lemon and basil (a nice tangy experience) was exceptional but we also loved the honey ginger (more creamy). Bring your dictionary though as the flavours were just listed in Italian. Will definitely be back.

Some of the best gelato we had during our 2+ weeks in Italy! On a piazza in the Oltrarno neighborhood, this place is mostly frequented by the locals. You certainly won't find a lot of English spoken here.

A local told us this was the best ice cream in Florence and she wasn't wrong (according to our rather limited five-day survey!). Despite queues, the young woman serving us was happy to explain in detail, give translations, give tasters, etc. Lots of options for the gluten-freezers, including ice cream cones.

Lovely ice cream away from the hussle and bustle of the city. I can recommend the smoothy (lemon sorbet, vodka and Prosecco! )

Wonderful gelato in a tiny neighborhood place. On a little piazza down a narrow street in Oltraorno. Go and sit out in the park with your gelato.

This is a must-visit for ice cream lovers, the quality of ingredients and preparation is simply outstanding. The place is also in a nice square of old Florence, off the most beaten tourist streets, but still just a few minutes walk.

The best I have tasted €5 will purchase a generous two flavours. I recommend the salted caramel and the chocolate- both are intense flavours and spoil any other ice cream which just doesn't make the grade. Purchase and sit under a shade to enjoy in front . Eat in the local restaurants and come here for dessert. You will not... More

The best gelato I have had. The pistachio and chocolate were to die for. The cones were also great, not cheap or store bought. Overall I would choose to go here over the other gelato in the area.
