The place is amazing, nice people and the wine is good and cheap! If you are in Florence you can’t not go!

Very crowded with people drinking outside so seems to be popular with the locals. Glasses of wine for a few euro. We took empty bottles to get refilled- 3 bottles filled for $8E

We were so fortunate to find this quiet, generous, friendly wine bar. 3 euro glass of wine even came with little canapé. The stuff were very accommodating too. It was really worth to walk for about 15 minutes from where we were.

Recommend by our host as he loves there cheap wines and it didn't disappoint. We arrived at 7.00pm and sat inside as it was 36 degrees outside and it was lovely and cool. The owner explained the wines by the glass and even let me taste a couple first. I chose one of the house wines and you get a full glass full for 3 euros and it was nice, we also had a 5 euro one which was nice too. Had some nice complimentary bruschettas and bought a meat and cheese platter. Total bill 18 euros, bargain and a lovely experience.

My wife and I ended up in this cozy enoteca after a long walk in Florence. The service was outstanding and the staff was very friendly.

When asked about a local wine bar, our landlord did not hesitate recommending Enoteca Alla Sosta Demi Papi which was just around the corner from our apartment. Definitely a small “hole in the wall” wine bar, we found it packed as we walked up. Staff was incredibly friendly and quickly started giving us tastes of the day’s wine offerings. Selections made, we were given generous pours along with excellent tapa style accompaniments. Wine was ridiculously inexpensive, good and the free tastes of local fare made it an excellent choice. Needless to say, after that every evening in Florence started with a trip to our local Enoteca! A definite must do if you like good local wine and atmosphere.

The generosity of drink food and knowledge really come forth in this enoteca. Sometimes crowded, they never hesitate to bring out snacks with their fairly priced wine. Where else can you get a bottle for 4E. One could spend the night here and never have a bad glass of wine because the owner insists the winemaker makes his wine from his heart.

They have a very welcoming, friendly atmosphere and terrific deals on antipasti and the house wines. Would definitely go back!

Found this place on a Saturday night only a couple blocks from our hotel. It was a homemade wine party pouring out on to the street. We had a couple excellent glasses of their Vino Rosso at 3 Euros a glass - loved and bought a take away bottle for 3,90 Euros back to hotel. The charcuterie plates here were absolutely awesome - like none we had ever seen. Great local spot for sure!

The wine bar has limited seating inside but on a warm night it doesn't matter. Has a great mix of people mostly local. Nice to sit out on the street and watch people have a good time. The house wine in good quality and great value. Will definitely be visiting again when we return to Florence. Well worth a visit.

I stumbled across this little enoteca doing online research for my 7th trip to Florence. After reading the reviews, I knew I wanted to try it. Luckily it's very close to my first hotel and the apartment I stayed in while taking language classes. I think I went at least 5 times during my two weeks in Florence, then I took my sister there before we left for Verona and when we came back. All but one time were terrific experiences; huge glasses of wine and tasty crostini for 3 euros. I also bought a bottle of their house wine for just over 3 euros and it was great. Several times I talked with other people or just sat and people watched. Even when I sat writing or studying no one bothered me. The only negative was an evening when I came in after spending the afternoon at the Museo dell'Opera. I ordered a prosecco and the woman who took my order barely gave me a 1/3 of a glass. I thought maybe it was because I ordered prosecco but I saw several people with full glasses. The first time I brought my sister the same woman started to shove our table back without asking and we barely grabbed our glasses in time to keep them from spilling. So guess she just didn't like me. But compared to all the great times that was a minor blip. In fact I hate to call attention to Sosta 'cause I'm afraid all of us tourists will ruin it.

This little spot is fabulous! There are so many wines to choose from and the girl working was very friendly and helpful. An older gentleman was filling bottles and she was corking them when I had arrived. It was cool to see. She helped me pick out a great bottle, too! Great little shop!

This enoteca is without a doubt the best in Florence! We stumbled upon this place last March while traveling on our honeymoon. It wasn't forgotten. The second we flew in this most recent time, we started the search to find it again. We called the tour guide from our Walks of Italy trip last year, asked our hotel concierge, googled, and to no avail, couldn't find it. As a last ditch effort, we tried to retrace our steps and scour the area near where we remembered it being. WE FOUND IT! The same kind man was working again and remembered is and welcomed us back in with open arms! As you enter this enoteca, you're greeted with plates of breads, meats, cheeses, and olives oils to enjoy while you taste wines {and for us create crates to ship back home to the US!}. What a precious experience! They also have vats of several different wines made in house where locals bring bottles to fill up -- very inexpensively priced, too! As we tasted and selected our wines, they brought us complimentary toast of chilled Limoncello and just made us feel like family ;) After we took some photos and laughed over our pitifully good translations {they speak very little but we're so willing to try to communicate with us}, they got our info for our shipment and gifted us with a complimentary bottle of Limoncello! Precious precious people! If you're in Florence, go here and you won't regret it!

We stumbled upon this little gem quite by chance and subsequently stumbled out quite a few times in the following days ! Quiet, earlier in the week, the bar became the hub of student life by the weekend! A decent house Chianti cost €3 for a full glass (with free bruschetta with various toppings) or you could by a bottle to take away for €3.50. We were the only English people in the bar but made to feel very welcome and loved the vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere! If in Firenze I would definitely recommend a visit or three !
