A beautiful red brick interior with modern lighting and spacious tables. The food was "deconstructed" which was a bit of a disappointment. The whole place was rather lacking. And expensive!

We were looking for a unique dining experience in Firenze and found Santo Graal by some recommendations. It was refreshing to be in a non-traditional italian restaurant. The menu was creative and interesting. Service was very good. The restaurant has a great design however it feels very solemn and overly serious. Highlight was the scallop risotto and veal. The fish... More

We had the tasting menu and have to say we've been to much better Michelin recommended restaurants. The broth for the first dish was very bitter and the fish stock did not work well. Other dishes seemed to be a menagerie of strange tastes. It doesn't get one star because the scallop risotto was tasty. When in Florence I'd recommend... More

Dear Sir. "When in Florence I'd recommend going to an authentic Italian place instead." cit. If you follow Michelin suggestion please don't use only the restaurant locator on the app, buy the guide book and read the comment. You suggest to "going to an Authentic italian place", did you really read the Michelin guide? Best Regards More

There's no question that they take their food very seriously at Santo Graal. The atmosphere is rather solemn and presentation is meticulous. It's just that this set up an expectation which the food itself didn't meet - at least the night we were there. We had four dishes (we didn't stay for dessert). The prawns 'bloody Mary' were tasty in... More

This restaurant features local flavors with a high level preparation and presentation. We had the six course tasting menu. They brought us great variety ranging from fish to pasta to beef with great local seasonal ingredients. Portions were small but just right for a six courses menu. Atmosphere was quiet with an emphasis on food presentation. This is a fun... More

We were here in May 2016 and it was very nice. The restaurant is surrounded by red bricks and the atmosphere is rather jazzy. The dishes are very well thought out and always respecting the typical italian products. The service is perfect and could be part of a Michelin Star Restaurant. Just go and enjoy your stay!!

We happened upon this restaurant on our way back to our hotel. It had been a long day and this was an oasis! Great food and service after a long day!

we had the vegetarian tasting menu and it was fantastic. We started with a drink called Tuscan fire" and all the dishes following just left us wanting for more. A very friendly staff made us feel at home. The total price for two ended at 86 Euros, including a bottle of wine and espresso and a delicious jasmine tea is... More

I ate here with friends, a group of 5, all Italians but I. So we had an opportunity to try several dishes from each course. Some were very good, some average. But the whole experience suggests over thinking, over designing pretentiousness. If ingredients are high quality, which here I'm sure they are, and the concepts inventive without over elaboration then... More
