Noisy, bustling, full of local people, just what you want in a traditional restaurant . Prices extremely good for the area and the food is excellent.

This restaurant is about 15 minutes bus ride from downtown Florence, so mostly frequented by locals. Friendly service with very good food. Not sure that I would go there had I not been staying close to it.

This restaurant has the best pizza i ever had in Italy. The atmosphere was so nice and cozy, and the services was great! I just wish i get the chance to eat there again.

on the other side of the Arno, 45 minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio, i.e. out of reach for most tourists, you will find this authentic pizzeria where mainly locals come and enjoy the massive list of pizzas. though we arrived fairly late on a Sunday evening with a group of 9, they managed to get us a table and... My wife and I stayed at a B&B and the hostess recommended the restaurant. It is a simple restaurant in the Oltrarno section where the local Fiorentini eat. We were very happy with our meal especially after a long day of sightseeing. The price was very reasonable.

This restaurant was recommended by our B&B and was within easy walking distance. The place was very busy when we arrived, but they were able to squeeze us in without a reservation. The waiter we had spoke excellent English and so we were able to get custom made pizzas which were delicious. The homemade desserts were also lovely. This restaurant... More

We were staying in a villa in the outer area of Florence and the owner suggested we try this place. Looks like a neighborhood hole in the wall but we quickly found out how popular this place was. Although they speak little english, we were still treated very well although I think a few of the other diners got a... More

We were recommended to go here by our B&B hostess. To avoid wait times you have to go before 7:15pm. The restaurant paired us with a waitress that spoke good english. We couldn't believe how flavourful the pasta was. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to return the following night and the experience was just as good. The... More
