Please do not spend your hard earned money here. We had two coffees and two desserts that cost 25 Euros. We should have known something was up because the prices were not posted. An italian couple were complaining to the manager about the prices while we were there.

When you see the 'cute' terrace of this 'cafe' (if you want to dare call it so), tempts you to go in. The waiter can't speak 4 words of english. I ordered a slice of pizza and a freshly squeezed orange juice (i speak Italian). The slice of pizza was so oily that I litterally had to 'drain' it (twice)..... More

My husband ordered an Americano and the staff ( not realizing that I understand Italian) started mocking him and telling the barista to add a lot of water so the the coffee will "taste like piss, the way Americans like their coffee." His drink did take like piss and cost a fortune. Boycott these guys, they are not good people... More

We sat overlooking the Ponte Vecchio having a coffee & cake at Caffe Maioli- fantastic views, great service and not as expensive as I thought it would be.

My husband and I stopped here for an ice cream each and we were charged €15 for both! Absolutely disgusted at the price we sat down thinking we will make the most of the price we had paid! We used the toilets well they were absolutely disgusting I have working as a nurse for many years and through my time... More

I went with my family of 6 (including me) and were charged €10 per ice cream so ended up paying €60 for ice cream. I saw them charge others a bit more, others a bit less.... When we asked the prices of the ice cream the lady shrugged and said it varies whilst avoiding eye contact. Only told us how... More

This place is an genuine tourist trap because of its location. The €4 coffee we had was terrible. Our food was also overpriced and bland. Stay away, without any doubt I would not recommend this place.

I was hungry and stopped in for a bite to eat, I ordered a sandwich and a drink and headed upstairs for a seat. The food was decent and service was fine, until I asked for my bill and the waitress said to pay downstairs, and if I wanted to tip to give it to her directly. I know that... More

Please do not go this place!! You expect it to be slightly more expensive because of its position however €9 euros for 2 scoops of ice cream, what made it even worse was to see the waitress shake her head in disgust at the price he had charged. A two minute walk round the corner are a number of lovely... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
