I was really excited to try this vegan place in Florence, but the food was absolutely horrible. My mixed plate was supposed to have lasagna, croquettes, and vegetables, but the vegetables were only some undressed sprouts. The rest of the food was oily and flavorless (the lasagna was just plain pasta with marinara sauce), and worse, the lasagna was cold.... More

We arrive around 8/9pm, two people. First, it is really small, and there are far too many tables, seats - so moving around is complicated. A child was yelling - and kept yelling for 20 minutes, really loud, and the staff nor the parents didn't care. You have to take a menu, a pencil, and circle what you want. They... More

Dolce Vegan is a small vegan restaurant in the centre of Florence, within walking distance from the main touristic attractions. The main dishes are original (seitan, soy cheese, tofu...), although portions are not that generous. Prices are fair, not low. Cakes and sweet pastry are amazing, though!!! Another good point of the place is that the lady who's usually there... More

This place is in central Florence (about 10-15 mins walk from the main tourist area). When you arrive, you get given a menu to fill in yourself to take back to the counter. It's all in Italian, but they have an english menu that you can use to help. I had tagliatelle carbonara which was really nice and my husband... More

After reading the positive reviews we hoped for a good vegan meal. We were so disappointed! My wife's vegetable tart was a mass of veggies on a plate - nothing else. My food arrived cold and I had to ask them to reheat it. The pasta was tasty, but the bread seitan was dry and without any attempt at culinary... More

We went for dinner on our last day in Florence & had been really looking forward to it. Sadly the food was very bland, the menu extremely limited & the the place totally lacked any ambience. The organic wine was superb (though pricey). We both felt quite ill during the night & realised that the food (which was not freshly... More

We had a good first visit to Dolce Vegan just over 3 years ago, so I was happy to be returning. Unfortunately, our second visit probably means there won't be a third. Perhaps it was because we arrived after 9pm, but every sauce and every side we asked about was "finito". It turned out the only sauce they had was... More

Since my Italian BF turned vegan in October 15', his family couldn't comprehend him not eating pasta, cheese etc but since we came back to visit over Christmas, everyone decided to try what he eats on a day to day basis - meatless rabbit food where their thoughts! We booked for 11 and everyone was anxious waiting for this so... More

Went here twice on my trip to Florence. Was so happy to find a vegan restaurant so close to my hotel (with another one right across the street). I had the seitan ragu gnocci, the ravioli, and the tiramisu. All of them were so amazing! I brought non-vegan classmates here with me on our study abroad trip and they loved... More

This charming little cafe was about a ten minute walk from our hotel, The Four Seasons. They mostly serve vegan comfort food, but it was good for lunch. I was disappointed that they served us espresso in paper cups. There is a TV showing a non-stop loop of cute animals.
