We eat a lot of good food typical for this region! Food, staff and climate are the best. Near Duomo!
Many thanks!!!
Sergio was excellent and the food was delicious. Such generous people and a lovely dinner experience.
Great location with a very quiet, romantic setting. My wife & I stopped here during our honeymoon. I had the Steak Florentine, rare, and about 50 oz (with bone). It was extremely juicy and tender, and came to the table still sizzling. My wife had...the Tortelli Ragu and Papa Pomodoro soup, both of which were fantastic as well.More
Very good service and they had such good pasta! I recommend this restaurant where you also receive a nice view over Cupola di Brunelleschi.
Great services from the crew. From introducing the dishes to serving. Friendly and great recommendations of streak and wine. 5*. Definitely coming back again
We walked right from the Cupola (Duomo) into the Cupola (Restaurant) and got convinced to buy a typical Steak Florentine by our waiter Sergio. It is the best meal we had in Italy, and we had very good meals in Italy having come back from...Alba the white truffle capital. Service was excellent, and as usual the price was much more reasonable than what we could have expected in a similar establishment in Canada! We strongly encourage anyone who visits Florence to try this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.More
Truly a carnivore’s dream. An excellent quality restaurant, top service and a special outlook over Piazza del Duomo in Florence.
This place is amazing, the food, the service, the staff the entire experience was amazing. Sergio, our waiter was a great communicator in both English and Italian. Very happy with the staff and the service. The wine was amazing as well and overall the experience...was a 5 out of 5 rating. The location is unbelievable and inside ambience of the restaurant matches the beautiful outside.More
Strolling through Florence on my first night, I was attracted to the location as well as the appearance of La Cupola, which seemed quite unlike the tourist traps that are often found on the very beaten track. Fortunately, I was right about the place. The...room was pleasant and despite a good dinner crowd had a peaceful atmosphere. The service I received was forthcoming and flawless and my risotto with truffle was absolutely delightful. My antipasto, a tomato salad with mozzarella seemed bland by comparison. Still, enjoying a truly local meal accompanied by a glass of well-matched wine while facing the distinctive walls of the cathedral made this a wonderful welcome to the city. Thank you!More
The menu sounded very good but we were very disappointed. We had Selmon with fennel salad and truffle risotto. The fish was dry and very overcooked (24€!), the risotto (18€) did not have any other spice than truffle, the fennel salad (extra 8€) was rare...with some pecorino but without any dressing or spice. The service was friendly but not professional. They brought water without gas but we ordered sparkling, the wine glass was dirty. In conclusion it was way too pricey for low quality food. Maybe you can go there for steaks, but for us it was nothing more than a tourist trap.More
5 Star! Excellent! Professional service from Sergio! You cannot go wrong with this restaurant. The steak is excellent. I’m from Texas and have high standards for beef and it does not disappoint.
What a dinner, the staff was excellent and the gentleman that educated us on his selection of aged steaks was awesome. What a magnificent dinner in front of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Flore.
Brought my wife here for her birthday, couldn't have been happier! Staff were courteous and attentive, made helpful recommendations. The food was uniformly delicious. No matter what else you order, do not skip the Florentine steak!
We were greeted by the friendly staff and had a pleasant and attentive service all throughout. We opted for their beef dishes, but not the by the weight steaks. Ordered medium rare and got such. House wine was lovely and the view, of course, fantastic....The staff really made the experience superb. Thanks!More
