The staff couldn't have been nicer to our party of 8. We tried most of the menu and really enjoyed our cecina, pastas, risotto, etc. It's a vegetarian menu, but this didn't at all mean that our party of carnivores was disappointed.

I absolutely loved the food at this small jewel of a place. The hummus is excellent and pasta dishes really fresh and using seasonal ingredients. They also had some Middle Eastern inspired dishes. It was so good we came twice!

Perfect little spot for local organic and vegetarian dishes. Excellent wine list too. Located on the lovely Piazza della Passera in the oltrarno neighborhood near the Ponte Vecchio.

First time i tried vegeterian meal and it was a nice experienced. I tasted a great omelette. Nice atmosphere, very cosy place! The staff was very friendly! You should better have a reservation before you get there. A little bit expensive.

What a romantic setting: a candelit trattoria in the corner of a quiet, old square not far from the Pitti Palace. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming service and a tasty Italian style vegetarian meal, a pleasant change from robust Tuscan fare. A perfect way to spend an evening in Florence.

We wandered in with no reservation and a party of five on a Thursday night...they shoehorned us in and before we sat down the owner was there with us chatting up a storm. Went through the whole menu, item by item, and riffed on favorites and general commentary for probably 15 minutes. Food was impeccable, table service was impeccable, and... More

By 12:20 the dozen or so table were taken by the lunch patrons: come early. The wait staff are friendly and very efficient. My veggie stomach was full and happy with the several choices available. I was fortunate to sit next to a whimsical mini shrine; see photo.

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
