Thanks to other reviews, we sought out this ristorante which was just a short walk from our apt. Although there was no English spoken and the menu entirely in Italian, we were able to figure out what we wanted and were not disappointed. The tagliatelle with duck and speck was perfect, as with the eggplant pesto pasta and penne. Each... More

I ate here without a reservation and was welcomed with open arms by a very colourful lady. I ordered a tagliatelle with Speck and Zucchini Flowers which was amazing. Relatively pricey, but quality ingredients and good cooking. €14 with €2 cover charge.

The lady barely spoke English, and we couldn't understand a word of the menu. Therefore we just ordered two pastas with pesto and tomatoe sauce. Each 10 and 12 euros. We didn't ask for water and bread but they gave us when we arrived and had to pay 6 euros for them. Good food but bad customer service.

I have been visiting Italy for 20 years (and lived here for 3) but this is the first restaurant I have found at reasonable prices that combines an intimate, family feeling, incredible quality and wonderful originality. One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in anywhere in the world. I went with two Italians and they agreed - amazing!

We came here to have dinner. Great little place, very cosy. Not turistic place. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good and house wine too! Would recommend this place to anyone and will defenetly come here again!

We were recommended to come here by a friend. On a Sunday night, they were open and almost all the tables were filled by 9 p.m. We are one of the few tables that was not reserved. We tried a total of 3 different dishes: a pasta with tomatoes and cheese, a pasta with pork meat, and another pasta with... More

In the too touristic dining panorama of Florence, this place is one nice exception. It's out of the beaten paths ( i.e. you're 30min walking from the very center), it's rustic and proposes simple food. But for someone living in other countries (like us these days), this is the kind of place you expect in Tuscany. And their menu has... More

I discovered this place, just down the street from my air bnb, b/c it had good reviews on yelp. Oh my, if you are a foodie and into great local food done simply and very very well, I could not recommend this place more. The food is ultra fresh, inspired by seasonality, and perfectly cooked. I went two nights in... More

We've been to I Riffaioli many times for lunch over the past few years, and found it an excellent alternative to the crowds and prices of the centro storico, but had never tried it at night. Though there were not many of us in their small diningroom, we had to wait quite a while, but our patience was richly rewarded... More

I was dying for a traditional Tuscan meal and this restaurant hit the spot, and then some. I have been looking forward to trying this place out for years, and am delighted that they now are open for dinner. The restaurant is very cute and charming. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Food is prepared fresh daily and we... More
