We had dinner tonight at Aroma and it was impeccable. From the quiet elegant ambiance, the highly personalized service and extraordinary food. I had the buratta to start, the salted sea bass which is was easily the best sea bass I have ever tasted. The...side of grilled vegetables were outstanding. It’s hard not to rave about every bite we took here. Don’t miss the desserts: millefiore and also the chocolate soufflé. Marco was patient, welcoming and for a group of discerning foodies, the meal exceeded expectations. Thank you Marco!More

A welcome change from the restaurant norm in Florence. Very cozy, room we sat in fits ~12 people. Excellent food. Seafood specialty. Take advantage of the menu and try different plates. Everything was delicious and service was impeccable. Would definitely return.

A great find, quite unlike other restaurants in Florence. If you want somewhere quiet, not the standard trattoria and a change from endless steaks - this is the restaurant for you. The focus is on fish, all done to an excellent quality. The sea bass...cooked in salt was one of the best we have ever eaten. All the details were superb as well, for example some of the most delicious spring vegetables we've had. Highly recommended.More

Everything from the food, to the service, and the general atmosphere was incredible and welcoming. The restaurant is small and cozy - feels almost home-like, the waiter was sweet and helpful, and the food was incredible.

Probably one of the restaurants in Firenze that really deserves to be visited. We've ordered risotto and ravioli. The food was excellent and the service was very helpful! You should visit in any case!

Tonight was my second visit to Aroma. This one was even better than the first dinner. It is a small restaurant but well worth finding in the Santa Croce neighborhood. They have five tables inside and more on a small veranda outside. The waiter is...friendly and provides impeccable service. But it's the food that brought us back for a second visit. The dishes are not typical Tuscan food. They are fish based with very light sauces. Tonight for the first course I had Sole fish fillet baked with courgette flowers on a caper sauce. it was brilliantly prepared for taste and visual pleasure. We had the fish of the day and it was perfectly prepared and served with potatoes and vegetables. For dessert I had the chocolate soufflé. It was served at the perfect temperature and was light and fluffy. If you enjoy a beautiful dinning experience don't miss Aroma.More

An absolutely brilliant find, don't really want to share it! Try and sit outside on the small terrace. The best service. We had free aperitifs and prosecco to start. A real dining experience and our favourite romantic meal in Florence.

We stumbled across the restaurant during an evening and were absolutely bowled over! A wonderful experience; amazing service - staff were accommodating and easygoing but very passionate about the food. Every course was a taste sensation and was described so we know the exact ingredients...and even how they were cooked. Best meal we have had in Florence; we felt like royalty! Wonderful experience - definitely recommend!!!More
