We wandered into Aroma this evening and ended up having the best meal of our entire 11 day trip in Italy. The menu is very different and heavy on the seafood. There are items such as marinated duck, larded pigeon, and a couple of carpaggios. This is not your "standard" Italian fare. We had some lovely apertivo of potato croquets,... More

An exceptional meal near Santa Croce. Must try the Ravioli stuffed with sea bass, with clams and fresh fava beans on cream of zucchini. Delightful service. Quiet, refined, yet accessible.

I had a small portion of pasta, it was very different from what i expected but tasty, a little bit small so if u are hungry you should go for the big portion. The dessert was amazing. Very good service but a little bit expensive.

Walking through the streets of Florenz looking for food is an overload of options. Most places are the standard tourist traps so it is always a treat to stumble upon something truly special. Almost hidden with only a few tables on a small terrace outside this place was above and beyond expectation. Luxurious food of the best quality with a... More

Enjoyed a quiet Sunday lunch on my own. I was enticed to this place because it was away from the tourist circuit, it had a small terrasse, and only Italians were dining there. A complimentary glass of Prosecco never goes amiss. Complimentary amuse - bouche? Nice. Octopus entrée was gorgeous - tender and served on a tasty puree. Followed with... More

I ordered 2 tasting dishes, dessertand a bottle of sparkling water. There are other hidden costs like the soup, petit four. Although it worked out to be 40€ the meal was excellent. The pasta was executed brilliantly and the ambience and service were amazing!

Nice place, great food, friendly waiters. You surely get back more than you pay beginning with prosecco (together with initial finger food, a little fish soup and a small dessert at the end all included in the coperto) and a là carte menu.

My family and I loved this restaurant. It is small, quaint, charming, elegant, and makes for a beautiful place to enjoy a delicious meal. It is mainly a fish restaurant, but caters to other preferences (I am a vegetarian and had no problems), and really provides outstanding quality and taste with each dish. The ingredients were very fresh, the fish... More

If you love superbly presented and cooked seafood food served by a very enthusiastic owner in style then this is for you . We came on a Monday and were the only customers but we loved every second of our visit . The food was as good as we have eaten in top class Michelin starred restaurants and I would... More

We stumbled upon this place in Florence, and it was maybe the best meal we ate in three weeks in Europe. We arrived a bit late, around 9:00 PM, and were the only table not speaking Italian. The service was friendly and offered great recommendations, the wine was excellent, and, most importantly, the fish and seafood were perfect. If you're... More
