It 's always a pleasure and a treat for the kitchen! First courses, meats, lampredotto, sauces and homemade desserts, always excellent.

Discovered by pure chance last year, it is now a fixed stop every time we are in the area.

I went to this renowned tavern for a dinner with colleagues. We had an appetizer cold cuts, pecorino cheese and croutons. All very good, I must say. Following two "Florentine" with baked potatoes and spinach and two bottles of Chianti. The Florentines weighed 1.4kg each, but were missing the fillet. Then call me ribs, not Florentine. A delicious lunch! My partner and I, together with our dog, had lunch in this intimate and very well-kept restaurant. The carbonara we ate is the best I've ever tried, wonderful! Very crispy bacon and excellent cooking. Very attentive and friendly service. Special note to the chef and owner who came to the table to make sure everything was fine and also asked us if he could cook some meat for the dog. Fantastic! We really had a great time. We'll be back.

I go to Florence at least once a year and I always go there for lunch.
On Sunday 1st October I returned with friends, after booking, there were twelve of us who had lunch inside with an open kitchen. Even though we had different dishes,
from the peposo, to the ribollita, to the grilled cockerel, to the crostini, to the mushroom soup the chef was very good and quick.
I had tortelli with burrata and the chef made me a different condiment from the truly spectacular menu!! We were all very satisfied!!
Very kind and efficient young dining room staff, very helpful and professional chef, we felt welcomed!!

In addition to having eaten an excellent first course and excellent meat, what struck us most was the savoir-faire and kindness of the chef, an excellent dog-loving host, who offered our poodle a bowl of 'water and meat! Restaurant which leaves a bad taste of scam... we paid 60€ for 2 pasta dishes and half a liter of chianti! I didn't eat anything because it wasn't good at all (questionable cream and cheese sauce, overcooked pasta, stagnant cheese in the tuperoirs...) my friend was disturbed all night (meat tasted and tasted questionable quality). We had lunch on Sunday 27th April, my best friend and I in this very welcoming place which we didn't expect... they let us sit inside (outside given the beautiful day it was full) but we were very pleased because we could see ( there is a small open kitchen) how and with how much passion the chef dedicates his efforts to preparing excellent dishes!
Everything was really good...we had the bruschetta and a first course!! Everything was really good... the waiters were very nice and kind!!
I really recommend it!!! You will not regret it!!!

I've been eating here almost every evening for over a week now and this evening I had to let the overly business-minded waiter fob me off. Despite there being two free tables outside, he only wanted to offer me a table inside. With several people you're bound to make a bigger profit. As a solo traveler you're often treated a little like a stepchild - and that was the case here. It's a shame - the food was always very good - but the service unfortunately doesn't do justice to the quality of the food. Ok so. We have been to Florence, Rome, Venice, Naples, and the Amalfi Coast. We have tried as many local and highly rated eateries that we could find. We avoided tourist traps and we tried every exotic food we could. We spent nearly 30 days in Italy and ate pasta nearly every day. When I say this place is the best pasta we found in our entire trip, please believe me.
The spicy garlic tomato pici is the best dish on their menu. Both me and my better half agree.
My number two is the burrata stuffed ravioli tossed in pesto and topped with roasted tomatoes. An absolute banger! Best ravioli I have ever had. By far!
My wife’s number 2 was the wild boar pappardelle. Also a banger. The meat was so incredibly soft and flavorful. You should try it at least once if you can. Best wild boar ragu we found. And very Florence.
I recommend the glass wines if you like wine. They have great house wines that work well with all their dishes and for 6 euro a glass. White for starter and red for pasta was my go to. But you do you. This place loves their food too much to serve bad wine.
Please go to this place! Get the spicy garlic tomato pici. Get a glass of wine. And live your best Florence life.

I ventured to this place 3 times for dinner during my stay in Florence. Sampling different dishes each time. The food is fresh, delicious, high quality and all accompanied by the excellent and attentive staff who have recognised me and welcomed me back on each occasion. This was by far the best meal I have eaten during my time in Florence! The Ravioli al tartufo (Truffle ravioli) was divine. The house wine is amazing and the tiramisu is so good. If you’re feeling full I recommend splitting the tiramisu between two people. But do not miss out on it, it is incredible.

My husband and I had a reservation for dinner here on 9/9/2023 at 6:30 pm. I think the early hour was a time that was available. We prefer a bit later but we'll take what we can get.
Upon arriving we were promptly shown to a nice table inside as requested. There is outside seating also. Place was moderately busy-even at this early hour. A good mix of tourists and locals per conversation we can hear from a large party of locals (I think they were as they seemed to be regulars here from how they interacted with the staff) seated at a table next to us. Nice decor and ambiance.
Drinks. Birra Moretti/beer for Richard but just water for me. The water was chilled/cold and very refreshing. Richard enjoyed his beer but still prefers Peroni. Out comes the bread basket which was ok. Since there are some Tuscan food items on the menu I feel we should try them as this is our last night in Florence. Richard gets the wild boar with pumpkin and pistachios but when his dish arrives I don't see any pistachios. I have a taste and to be honest this is just not for me. My husband said it was good. I ordered the fresh penne with cereal flours with Tuscan sausage and gorgonzola. It's fine but not a favorite of mine. We also got a side of the Tuscan cannelloni beans which we shared. This was my favorite of the evening. Served piping hot and this dish remained hot until the last bite. I really liked this. Service was very good. Friendly and efficient. Cost 62€/$66.63.
