I discourage to reach the restaurant by car: Leave the car and go by walk otherwise it's a nightmare. The location is fantastic : it's in an ancient palace along the river side. Modern furniture contrasting with ancient building. The elegance of the ambient let you imagine a luxury restaurant, that is partially true. The service is under expectation and... More

We were enjoying a lovely stay in Florence, but fancied a fish meal as a change from trattoria fayre - delicious though it was. A quick internet search and we found the Bistro del Mare. Already highly recommended and 5 minutes walk from where we were staying. Easy to book on line too. We like to eat early so whilst... More

Great service to accompany excellent food. We shared 4 starters - rather than being plonked down together, they were served in a logical order so we could enjoy each one. The prawns were fantastic. Both fish and seafood was prepared well & fresh and there was a good wine list. Our waiter was friendly and attentive without being over-bearing. Would... More

So disappointing! Had reserverations, only one meal and it was pasta was good. The three fish dishes all extermely disappointing, fishy tasting, and nasty! Way over priced, should have known as the restaurant was pretty much empty! Came highly recommended, all I can say was WAY OVERRATED!!

Very good seafood in a lovely location. The raw fish dish was superb, quite different than sashimi. Baked fish was also excellent. Recommended if you like seafood with or without pasta.

Lovely modern restaurant in an old palazzo. The photos don't do it justice. Delicious food and attentive service. Very reasonable wine list.

I felt very welcome by the moment I stepped in. The menu is inviting to try many things and so we did! The antipasti were amazing and I was left to wonder how is the set menu in specials, a spot I will return in Firenze without hesitation.

This was our last meal in Italy and we wanted to try the seafood in Florence. We were not disappointed, we had a very modern take on italian seafood which was complemented with a great recommended white wine. The restaurant had a modern and intimate vibe with lots of couples there. The staff were friendly, spoke great english and food... More

Gorgeous interior with beautifully presented delicious food. The restaurant is on the newer side, but deserves praise. The food is prepared perfectly and the presentation is gorgeous. The prices are reasonable for a nicer establishment and the service is great. A great spot that as of now is not as touristy.

We had a very enjoyable evening here from start to finish. Warmly welcomed, attentive and informed service and absolutely delicious food! Up there with some of the best seafood dishes I've eaten and the affogato was to die for! Prices were reasonable given the quality. Do visit if you are in Florence.... Head for cocktails on the roof of the... More

It's a very modern place, accurte in every details, managed by young men who will make you feel at home.
