About
Based on the tradition of the Marini's family, the CANTUCCI MORBIDI produced by Il Cantuccio San Lorenzo is a typical Tuscan product sought after and appreciated worldwide. Ancient recipes, handed down to the young niece Francesca, that still maintain passion and craftsmanship care, to get traditional flavors of typical Florentine pastries.

This place is amazing. My second visit, this time with friends. We stood in line for about 20 minutes and the cantucci were worth every second and more. In fact, I came back two days later and stood in line again to pick up more to bring back to Rome. Now that I've finished them, I'm trying to find an excuse to take a day trip to Florence to buy more. If you're in Florence you MUST go here. The cantucci are uniquely soft and delicately sweet. They also have little biscuits/cookies and other sweet cakes and things, which are all delicious.

I don't know what they put in their cantucci, but it is so good and very addictive. I bought some to bring back as a treat for my colleagues; luckily I bought a bag for home too. Located near the historic center so it's easy to get to. Definitely worth a visit and makes a great gift to bring home.

We found this great little shop at a food tour where we tasted the great Cantuccis with some Vine Santo. We liked it so much that we came back and bought some Cantuccis and Vine Santo to eat it on our Place.

Very tasty and fresh cantucci and amaretti which are not inexpensive but better than any other we tried. Traditional Italian bakery only for cookies!

The biscotti is the best I have ever eaten. Moist, flavorful and delicious. They have a variety of different kinds/flavors. Try them all. We did! Every one was amazing

The shop isn't very big, but there's a pretty good selection of cookies (and cakes) and the ones I've tried are delicious.

Find this shop when you are in Florence - it is really WOW! There are like 10 kinds of cookies to choose from. They are soft and very tasty! You can choose and buy as many as u want or take them as a souvenir in packs
Note that they only do cookies, so you can grab some coffee on the way there

I'm not a biscotti fan. At all. But, I figured if you are in Italy, you need to try some. This was not like biscotti, but much softer and PERFECT. We went back twice before leaving town. The almond and chocolate were my favs. I can still smell it a few weeks later...if you go, please ship me some to Atlanta, GA!!!

I called in love with the popular Vin santo e cantucci while in Florence, which led me to this place: fresh cantucci packed in the morning and sold in the store. The staff was very patient explaining the various types and we tasted three types (pictured below) and we took all of them! Small little store to buy cantucci as a gift (my family in law loved it) or for yourself to enjoy !!! Will be back once I visit Florence again!

The lady was nice and let us try several types of cantuccini. They last up to 3 months so they make an excellent souvenir or gift.
