The place is small and crowded however the queue you find outside has a meaning. If you want a quick lunch with typical food this is the place. You can have a panino with almost anything you can dream of. If you like lampredotto you can have it too.

The Vinaino di Parte Guelfa is the perfect spot for a delicious quickie snack Panini while out exploring Florence. Multiple meat choices and cheese choices with fresh tomato and lettuce added in. Yum! We had prosciutto with mozzarella and enjoyed them. Tasty with fresh bread. ...

Stumbled over this tiny little gem while taking a side street. A week in Italy and this is the meal we keep talking about. Choose from half a dozen meats and half a dozen cheeses plus a selection of grilled and marinated veges and the two guys behind the counter will create a tasty masterpiece for less than 4 Euro.... Truly the best panini I have ever had. It is difficult to find - in a side alley near the old church converted to a library. Look for the muted yellow building - it is back in that alley with an off white awning (check the photos). Also, the price is very reasonable and service was friendly. The owner accepts... More

Luca and Leonardo are artists with a panino. I came here every week AT LEAST for 4 months. I already miss them and their sandwiches!

This place is tucked away onto tiny Via Lampana, but it is worth looking for. I discovered it by accident on my first trip to Florence and visit at least once each time I visit. The ingredients are so fresh, and you'll watch them slice the prosciutto and the cheese in front of you as they sculpt (yes, sculpt!) your... More

Briefly, we asked for a Greek Salad which was not typically Greek and also asked for a pizza and it was very small and wasn't properly toasted.

So... After doing the lot (Gusta Panino, Al'Antico Vinaio, Il Due Fratellini and Ino Firenze) over the last 5 days, I have accidentally stumbled into a Panini place just around the corner from my apartment. It's always the way, right? The ones you don't research or know about and the ones right under your nose. Literally! Well.... Almost. Now, being... More

I am grateful for my friends who work right in the center to bring me to the back alleys of the busier streets to Guelfa. Where you will find all the Italians on their lunch break coming here to grab a panino. Two tables on the inside and maybe a seat or two outside. Otherwise, you can stand and linger... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
