Went here on tuesday this week and wow. No frills or spills. Exactly the food my nonna and her sister have always cooked for me. Simple, tasty and fantastic. Best meal out for ages. I cannot compliment this restaurant enough. Scarily cheap too. If you want to eat like you are staying with an italian family go here.

Very traditional place where you may be sat on a large table with others. Everyone in there appeared to be locals which was nice and it was very busy. Food was amazing and very cheap. Definitely recommend it.

This restaurant has a lot of traditional Tuscanies dishes, nice family atmosphere and good home wine. We were looking to try good Italian soup and finally found in Trattoria Sabatino

Had three courses - pasta, roast beef and cooked pear for dessert. 15.40€! Really tasty, and worth more than what they charge.

This is one of the loveliest places I have ever been to eat. Simple, traditional, extremely tasty meals. Very reasonably priced. Lovely people. My go to spot for sure!

We were staying in the Oltrarno area and read about this restaurant which has been family run since 1956. It was a 15 minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio, tucked away just beyond the Porta San Frediano. The family were very welcoming and sat us at one of the long shared tables. We were among the first to arrive for... More

Hotel receptionist told us to visit this place as it was a great family restaurant. Turned out that their pasta was cheap but really good ! The fish was alright but a hassle to eat due to the lack of descaling. While the squid with vegetables was pretty decent. Would definitely come back for a quick simple bite if I... More

This is the real trattoria where you can experience the meaning of this type of restaurant. Delicious food and nice cultural experience. Definitely something to try for an easy/fast dinner or lunch if you are in the area. Prices and quality stunning! Have a nice meal and order tagliatelle with sugo!

A small family run trattoria with fantastic food and very friendly staff. Nothing flash and you cannot book. The prices are very low, from 4 to 8 euros. We had a minestrone soup, which was big and very nice indeed. My wife had a simple pasta about 5 euro and I had the osso bucho about 8 euro and half... More

We came in for a late night dinner, and were pleasantly surprised by this down-to-earth but very good local restaurant. Half a litre of wine for 2.50, and litre of water for (I believe) 0.90 euro.... Great food, great atmosphere.
