A small family run trattoria with fantastic food and very friendly staff. Nothing flash and you cannot book. The prices are very low, from 4 to 8 euros. We had a minestrone soup, which was big and very nice indeed. My wife had a simple pasta about 5 euro and I had the osso bucho about 8 euro and half... More

We came in for a late night dinner, and were pleasantly surprised by this down-to-earth but very good local restaurant. Half a litre of wine for 2.50, and litre of water for (I believe) 0.90 euro.... Great food, great atmosphere.

Apparently this place opened in 1956 and had been serving authentic Tuscan home style cooking ever since. This place is absolutely lovely because it is so unpretentious. With home style tasty food " just like mama used to make". The house wine was ridiculously cheap and so good compared with a place I reviewed last night 300 metres away that... More

An out of the way restaurant but, worth the find. We will be back. The staff was very friendly and even though the menu is in Italian they will explain in English. The prices are a bargain. This is where the locals go. The food was excellent and the Baccalà was the best I have ever had.The cuttlefish with greens... More

My boyfriend and I came here based on a Guardian recommendation at the start of July, and what an excellent find! It's a family run restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and very reasonable prices. We don't speak good Italian but the waiter was very helpful and translated all of the dishes for us. We went back a second times three... More

As your typical American tourist, perhaps, we arrived too early for dinner as it did not open until 7:15. No problem as there is a delightful small neighborhood park next to it. We saw a menu posted by the door and the prices were so low we thought it was a relice from when they first opened the restaurant but... More

How good is your Italian? This family run restaurant made a huge effort for this non-Italian speaker to have an enjoyable meal. Portions are just right. They have a variety on the menu. Pasta was perfect. We had an appetizer, main course, beans and 4 desserts. Water, 1/2 litre of white wine and a Coke and it came to 59... More
