A wonderful authentic and traditional family restaurant on the quiet side of Florence. Worth a trip.

My boyfriend and I came here based on a Guardian recommendation at the start of July, and what an excellent find! It's a family run restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and very reasonable prices. We don't speak good Italian but the waiter was very helpful and translated all of the dishes for us. We went back a second times three... More

As your typical American tourist, perhaps, we arrived too early for dinner as it did not open until 7:15. No problem as there is a delightful small neighborhood park next to it. We saw a menu posted by the door and the prices were so low we thought it was a relice from when they first opened the restaurant but... More

How good is your Italian? This family run restaurant made a huge effort for this non-Italian speaker to have an enjoyable meal. Portions are just right. They have a variety on the menu. Pasta was perfect. We had an appetizer, main course, beans and 4 desserts. Water, 1/2 litre of white wine and a Coke and it came to 59... More

We came here based on a recommendation from our Rick Steves book. We prefer to eat at less touristy locations and this place hit the nail on the head. It is a very simple trattoria, not fancy at all, but with excellent food and value for your money. We had one of our best meals here and spent less that... More

Fabulous restaurant that is a do not miss place . Trestle tables and bench seating that makes for a superb eating experience . And make no mistake , you eat here , you do not dine . They sell what they have on a day to day basis so there is not a lot of point recommending something because they... More

During rush hour most likely you will find yourself sharing a table with another party. While this is probably not the place you want to go to for top of the range fancy food, the food comes quickly and with little fuss, which is great when you are just wanting a good, quick bite before you go on your way.

This is a fantastic restaurant recommended by our landlady. It is mainly frequented by locals and when it gets busy you will be seated with other people but the atmosphere is very freindly and the food is excellent and probably the best value in town
