Best Gelato that I have tried in Italy. Reasonable price. Must visit place when in Florence. Big choices of ice cream.

This Gelateria was just a block from the place we stayed and we discovered that it is one of the best Gelaterias in Florence. We went there three times during our stay and each time we ordered different flavors so we could try as much...as possible. All flavors were amazing! You cannot skip this place if you are in Florence. Note: it is not an ideal place to sit and hang out but just in front of it you have the Arno riverside, where you hang while you enjoy your gelato with a view of the Ponte Vecchio.More

Nothing too much to add - great service and fun flavors. I had the ricotta with pear and the creme caramel. Very well blended flavors. A tad on the gummy side with consistency, but overall a good experience.

We tried a lot of gelato while we were in Florence. I would say La Carraia is in the top two places to get gelato. The gelato is wonderful - creamy, with a very fresh flavor.
