My wife and I had the most incredible dinner at Cuculia. Starting with complimentary warm soup and the best bread I've had in years, which was all part of the one of the highest quality culinary experiences I've had anywhere. Our entrees were off the charts delicious. I usually eat very quickly but not this time. I actually set my... More

My husband and I dined Saturday evening here on the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel. We requested a healthy, vegetarian friendly place and he reserved us a table at this place. We were glad he did as some who came could not be seated. The three servers were enthusiastic, warm, relaxed, skilled and attentive. Best combination ever and... More

We were a walk-in after unsuccessfully looking for the restaurant 'confusion' on a Tuesday night, so you see we were looking for a break from the traditional tuscan food. We got the last table, and were lucky, as this gave us a wonderful meal. Dinner with amuse bouche, two courses and wine for three was eur 115, very reasonable. The... More

I stumbled upon this gem on my 2nd night in Florence. Absolutely delicious food. I was given a complimentary starter of puréed cauliflower and carrot plus beetroot foam (vegan). My main course was an aubergine/tomato dish with creamy Parmesan sauce. Excellent service. Interesting menu and wonderfully presented food. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is a gem. The presentation of the food is perfection, and the food is delicious. We ordered vegetarian starters and mains and we were treated free of charge to a pre starter dish which was light and delicious, compliments of the chef. Service was excellent, and a half-carafe of white wine was very reasonable indeed. It was so... More

I wanted to sample some modern Italian food and this place was a gem. The service was friendly and efficient, the amuse bouche a delicious surprise to start. Food presentation was beautiful and matched by flavour. Had the most perfectly cooked grilled octopus, melted in the mouth. Highly recommended! PS vegetarian, vegan and gluten free all appeared well- catered for.

We love Florence. Cuculia is a great mix of fresh local ingredients and great service. In our two weeks in town one of the best meals we had enjoyed and great people who work there. Will be back on our next visit.

We went here with my cousins living here and had great vegetarian/vegan setai/ steak and a bottle of good red wine for less than 100 euros. Our waitress was so friendly and the service was great. I would definitely go back.

Another good non touristy restaurant found through TripAdvisor. Loved the ambience. Food was great as was the service. The cauliflower flan was delicious. I did not enjoy the salad as much. It was interesting with oats and spinach but not as special as the other dishes. Amuse bouchée was lovely as well. Good use of foam
