We went this Friday the 6th of January without any kind of expectations per se. First of all, the welcoming was very warm and the setting of the restaurant is really nice for a couple dinner. Ambiance is very cosy and decor very tasteful. We...both had the Black & White truffle menu w/ a bottle of Barbera de Alba 2018. And oh my. Both the menu and the bottle turned out to be fantastic. We would like to hail the chef(s) for that beautiful tasting truffle menu. Which, we have to say, was one of the best meal we ever had in our entire lives. It was very balanced in any kind of way, and surely deserve to appear on the Michelin Guide. We particularly would like to thank the humor, professionalism, care, attentiveness of our two hosts, David and Jada. You guys made us made experience an even better night that we would have had without you being there. All points of your work there were precise and sharp. Keep up the work going. Great atmosphere, food was excellent ( congratulations to the chef) and beautifully served (we had white truffle menu and game menu) and the staff did their job very well. A place to recommend.

We revisited this gem after our initial meal last year on our first night, and we are still in awe of the warm ambiance, the incredibly thoughtful and delightful menu and how this restaurant can be so versatile…romantic dinner or reward for a day of...pounding the pavement sightseeing. The Parmesan ravioli is a taste explosion that you have to experience, life is too short! I love venison and my wife loves beef, however, she’s not fond of the typical tough Florentine steak. Issue solved after she tasted the truffle beef filet that disintegrated in her mouth. The small touches, from the chef’s appetizer to the petit four along with the charming, calm, and intimate atmosphere takes you to another place of gratitude and appreciation. We read several of the reviews posted here before deciding to dine here. Yes, it is serious food for serious people. But, we found the menu entirely approachable and the staff to be warm, inviting and thoughtful. The space is small but elegant, making it...that much more romantic and special in a city filled with restaurants that are wonderful but tend to be crowded and loud. The menu was set up for fixed menus as well as a la carte. The kitchen was more than accommodating on our requests. We had the white truffle menu which was fragrant and delicious. It was obvious to us that there was a lot of thought and creativity in every dish, beginning with a complimentary starter that teased the main menu options of cheese, game or truffle. The 62 degree egg with white truffle was so delicious, we sopped up every bit of the dish with the delicious bread on the table. The perfect taglioni pasta with white truffle was decadent yet delicate. The suckling pig with white truffle was our alternative to the beef filet….the kitchen offered to do this and it was more than a worthy substitute. The dessert was the only course we would have preferred something different than pumpkin as an ingredient…it was nicely executed but just not our preference. We thought the wine list offered a good selection with reasonable pricing to what you would find in a fine dining establishment. We look forward to coming back here in the future. The atmosphere was great, while the service was helpful with a really deep knowledge of dishes and wine pairing. We ordered menu a la carte and all the dishes were magnificent. Even the welcome dish was full of surprise and a great addition to the...whole experience. I highly recommend if you visit Florence to visit this little gem.More

Amazing location and stunning environment. Classy and romantic restaurant. The food was delicious. It is very pricey: the quality, which is definitely high, the position and the beauty of the restaurant will definitely be paid for.

Outstanding ambiance and food. The team was very friendly and decor to die for. An absolute must after a visit to the Ufizzi area. We tried the white truffle dishes and these were a dream.

Outstanding - personally go for the Al a Carte as the dishes are larger which is more enjoyable. There were plenty of options - cheese based menu, truffle based menu and gaming menu but we went for a combination which was worthwhile. Don’t look back...and book.
