While all the classics are superb esp pistachio and Cremino it is their beautiful house creations that have us crossing Florence - patient staff and somewhere to sit make this a Florentine must for all gelato lovers

Really good selection of ice cream and sorbets to choose from. Try the lemon, absolutely delicious on such a hot day. One of the best gelato shops in Florence.

Found by accident on the way to Santa Croce. All the classic flavours plus some creations using nuts and dried fruits. Well worth a visit.

It isn't truly central but Florence is so small it is only 5 mins walk from Santa Croce and worth going to. Well priced and very very tasty. Real fresh made on site stuff and you can tell.

Very artistic gelato, very creative, fresh and homemade. Especially the tastes that are made only by Procopio (like Il Procopio, La Follia di Procopio, Il cafe with nuts and chocolate).

Always heard of it but never tried until today. It is really excellent! Probably not the most classic Italian gelato as we love plain flavours whereas Procopio gelato is very rich: an Italian would usually ask for dark or milk chocolate, not for dark chocolate with chocolate chips, almond and maybe caramel or bla bla bla. My favourite scoops: Chantilly... More

What can you say about a perfect food, just when you find the perfect perfect food you must say so. Well here they have the creamiest gelato we found on any trip to Italy and that says a lot since we eat gelato a two times a day everyday were here. A bit out of the way but well worth... More

Since I stumbled upon this ice cream parlour I have made sure I've come back each trip. I can see other visitors doing the same. They have won awards for their ice cream combinations. It really is delicious. They also have ice cream cakes and waffles/pancakes, smoothies and drinks. The staff are multi lingual and super friendly. Book longer holidays... More

This is the best coffee gelato. Yes I know that's hard to believe with the many places to get gelato. But the difference is that it has chips of chocolate and nuts in it. I tried at least 5 different places and none of them stand up to it. Plus the prices are very reasonable. One of the cheapest I've... More

We stayed in Florence through airbnb and our host was a local of Florence. He recommended to us the "Cremino" flavoured gelato which is basically hazelnut, nutella and vanilla ice cream mixed through (maybe with other stuff, i'm not sure) and it was the best gelato we had all over Europe. We went back 3 times! DEFINITELY recommend visiting here... More
