In a place like Florence where ending up in a touristic trap is quite easy (such as all other restaurants in the nearby piazza santo spirito) this is a pretty good option. Homely, traditional, not pretentious, the place offers good dishes from the Florence tradition...More

Great food and great prices. We stumbled onto this place and it was very authentic. Mostly filled with locals. The tagliatelle with boar was amazing and you have to get the meatball with potatoes.

I had lunch, at this restaurant, and it was a very low quality food, overpriced !! The lasagne was burnt, and the sauce for pasta, was clearly not fresh!! The antipaste (salumi and cheese) was quite good. The staff was in a hurry to take...More

This little place is a gem - outside tables for a communal sort of experience, cozy inside with warm hues and a great vibe, fantastic food. We felt immediately at home when the host obliged finding us a space inside away from the evening’s blustery...More

In Florence you can find a restaurant on almost every corner, but when you are looking for a small nice local osteria with good food go to Gusta Osteria nearby the Piazza Santo Spirito (south of the river). It offers very good food at reasonable...More

I had the worst experience at this restaurant. Ordered a steak which was uncooked and had a bad smell. This is the only place in the city where you will come across the staff which has the "I don't care attitude". I hope they live...More

We were staying nearby and were recommended to visit another restaurant nearby for Florentine steak. Unfortunately they were full and the attitude of the staff while we were waiting was indifferent so we went to explore other options. I'm so pleased we did. While Gusta...More

Osteria has seats on the square, near really nice church. Food is well prepared, but overpriced, in my view. Coperto is 2€ per person.

As a clueless tourist, what could be better than stepping into a hidden gem after taking 20,000 steps and feel completely re-energized? Although Italy is famous for it's food, my Asian stomach is still very picky when it comes to western food. This restaurant was...More

We ate here around 8pm on a weekday. We sat outside and it was awesome. The food was so yummy and the service was fantastic. Outside tables fill up quick so get there early! Delicious house white wine as well. Would definitely return.
