Although we actually came for a restaurant closeby, we found that one closed. Quite by coincidence we ended up at Gusta Osteria. But what a pleasant surprise! Excellent food, wine and beautifully prepared dishes. Cosy and authentic atmosphere. Very nearly priced too. Recommended!

The steak was served a bit too rare, but this was taken care of well (which is almost impossible.) The potatoes were perfect, the staff was pleasant. The place is cozy and charming. I was very impressed.

It's a small place where you can eat good classical Italian food. The owner welcomed us with a cup of sparkling wine, good surprise!

We visited Florence this past week and visited Gusta twice because it has incredible food! I had the lasagna which is like velvet😍, my son had the Gusto meatball, and my niece had the steak. Don't miss this restaurant...it's a must eat!

Small little restaurant but with a real cozy feel. We had a long, late lunch on a rainy Saturday afternoon and it was a lovely way to while away a few hours. Good quality pasta and the house red was inexpensive but good quality. All the other diners were Italians rather than tourists which is always a good sign.

I had missed lunch one day and I was walking back to my hotel. It was not late like 6 pm and I noticed Gusta Osteria was not closed as are many restaurants in Florence. That was very fortuitous since I found the food to be very good the value and the service as well were superb. I will be... More

We were heading for Gusta Pizza but it was not open yet yet and we found this place just down the street. Not sure if they are connected. Pasta , local red wine with good service. Small but nice place. easy to find from Plazzo Pitti.

After Rome's craziness this was by far the best place to have dinner in Florence. We had 2 great salads and some wonderful red house wine. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Gusta Osteria. We had a 20 minute wait for a table but we were given a complementary drink while we waited at the outdoor tables. The food was delicious and good value for money and the staff were extremely friendly.

Heading to Piazza Santo Spirito we found this Osteria just off the Piazza, as it seemed to be another popular choice for people to eat we took advantage of a vacated table and enjoyed an excellent well prepared tasty meal.
