My boyfriend and I visited for lunch. I had pasta with pesto , he had lasagna. Both were delicious, especially the lasagna. Not the greatest wine, but it was drinkable anyway.

Just sound the corner from the art complex, this bar provided a nice expresso before our visit. The patron was gregarious. Only five euros for two cups.

Found this small charming bar/cafe for lunch on our travels through the back streets of Florence. What a surprise packet, the food was great( my lasagna was), value was spot on and the staff / atmosphere was awesome. Would definitely go back for lunch.

This is a bar run by one lady who basically does everything - serving, preparing. She speaks good English. We had a salad and a lasagna. Good home cooked food, followed by a nice fruit tart. Good value

Very authentic cafe. Extremely friendly staff. Good range of food for lunch - panini, salads, hot specials etc. Perfect for lunch.

Great coffee and little pastries, nice and quiet after the tourist bustle! Enough English spoken to get by too, good value right near some great sights.

We stopped by on a our way when walking the streets of Florence. The place is very small inside and with few tables outside. The service was very kind. Good place to stop for a drink or a coffee but the food didn't stand out.

If you want to have your capuccino and brioche with the locals then this is the place! An unassuming frontage disguises a real gem of simple basic food made with fresh ingredients and served with humour and enthusiasm. Don't go if you are expecting the usual tourist fare but if you are looking for a pasta, insalata misto or panino... More

It's a family runned bar. Many local Italian have their lunch here. The owner and server are friendly. I visited this store twice. The calzone is just okay, but coffee and penne with pesto are good. Fair price.

Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
