Just around the corner from the Uffizi, this is a simple, local eatery mainly serving locals, where we enjoyed a pleasant lunch made to our order from the food on display and served by a very happy and friendly lady.

My wife and I went to this small place while waiting to pick up our tickets to the Uffezi. I had a soup which was delicious. Prices are very reasonable and service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere was excellent.
Just sound the corner from the art complex, this bar provided a nice expresso before our visit. The patron was gregarious. Only five euros for two cups.
Found this small charming bar/cafe for lunch on our travels through the back streets of Florence. What a surprise packet, the food was great( my lasagna was), value was spot on and the staff / atmosphere was awesome. Would definitely go back for lunch.
This is a bar run by one lady who basically does everything - serving, preparing. She speaks good English. We had a salad and a lasagna. Good home cooked food, followed by a nice fruit tart. Good value
