We stopped by on a our way when walking the streets of Florence. The place is very small inside and with few tables outside. The service was very kind. Good place to stop for a drink or a coffee but the food didn't stand out.

If you want to have your capuccino and brioche with the locals then this is the place! An unassuming frontage disguises a real gem of simple basic food made with fresh ingredients and served with humour and enthusiasm. Don't go if you are expecting the usual tourist fare but if you are looking for a pasta, insalata misto or panino... More

It's a family runned bar. Many local Italian have their lunch here. The owner and server are friendly. I visited this store twice. The calzone is just okay, but coffee and penne with pesto are good. Fair price.

Very relaxed little cafe, around the corner from the ponte vechio. Frequented by locals primarily it offers a nice range of sandwiches and snacks for a weary traveller.. Also very good value for somewhere so close to several tourist traps. Lots of other nice looking restaurants also on this quiet street

In the heart near PV but nothing's if touristic flavour to it. Locals go here for lunch, simple Italian cocking. Experience the way the Firenze guys does it

This little place was right across from where we stayed in Florence and was perfect for breakfast - excellent choice of pastries and good cappuccino for me and Americano for my husband. Very little Italian on our side, and less English for the proprietor - but he was very helpful and we managed to come up with just what we... More

Stumbled across this little restaurant near Ponte Vecchia in Florence. Fantastic light lunch at good price and friendly hostess to help you choose your food and wine. Recommend this place to eat.

Friendly staff and serving different dishes every day of the week makes this lunch stop great to get typical Florentine foods such as lampredotto, peposo & tripe. Small place with only 8 tables but that's what makes it typical!!!

This place is barely off the beaten path in Florence. It was a little cafe with a small menu and several things made in advance to select as if from a deli counter. Lasagna, fettuccine with pomodoro, penne with eggplant and ricotta, tripe, etc. We skipped the tripe but got the fettuccine and the penne dishes. They were excellent. We... More
