Had dinner at this Tratoria one evening. We didn't have reservations but were early so managed to get a table. Tried the beef fillet, seafood spaghetti while the kids had simple tomato based spaghetti. Food was very good except the seafood pasta was a little salty. Actuallt I think this applies in general to Florence cooking so it's not restaurant... More

This restaurant was recommended by the lady we rented our apartment from, close to Piazza dei Ciompi and Piazza Santa Croce The food is outstanding and the service is friendly, the owner knows his wines and grappas! Not outrageously expensive for the quality of food Note at the weekend you need to book; it is very popular.

Our meal for 2 was on recommendation of the lady from who we rented our apartment in Piazza dei Ciompi Our choice of Risotto with prawns and Fried Seafood were delicious as was the dessert. My partner had a Grappa with his coffee and the waiter's knowledge was exceptional With a litre of house wine our bill was €65 Would... More

Our chef instructor at our cooking class earlier in the day recommended Osteria Da Que' Ganzi to us for the best bistecca in Florence and we were not disappointed! Easily one of the best steaks I've ever had anywhere. We were so happy to be in Florence during porcini mushroom season, because we had a great special of them that... More

We were 2 couples eating dinner and we enjoyed it very much.It is advisable to reserve a table in advance so you are sure you'll find a table. The food is really good, simple but with the most amazing taste. The wine list is really big so maybe you can get advice from the guy serving there, he is a conaisseur... More

This establishment is agreeable in most respects. The interior is fairly typically decorated for such a trattoria – nothing too objectionable. The piped music could be slightly less invasive: the nasally tones of the Italian pop singer Eros Ramazotti, for example, aren't to everyone's taste. Maybe if in places where people eat the proprietors didn't impose their own particular (particularly... More

Been to trattoria Que Ganzi a couple of times over the years, the food was excellent especially the taglierini con capesante, taglierini al tarufo e agnello al carbone . Very busy restaurant and booking is essential, close to The beautiful Santa Croce cathedral.

Chose this restaurant by chance as we were staying in the Hotel Bodoni in Via Martiri del Popolo around the corner and my brother had trouble walking too far. This turned out to be the same restaurant we ate in together as a family in 2010 and was rated then as one of our favourites in Florence but under a... More

We passed there after a long visit of Santa Croce on our way to Casa Buonarotti and stopped for lunch, as it seemed a very nice italian trattoria. An extremely attractive lunch formula with three primi and as much secondi and dolce to choose from with 1/2 lt of water and an espresso for 11€ (one primi or secondi and... More
