I made a reservation and they had our table ready right away! I got the pear ravioli and it was amazing! The waiter was very nice and attentive. The tirimsu was also very good! Highly recommend!

As we experienced more than a decade a go Acqua Al2 has maintained a high standard of consistency and quality. Certainly with a revisit.

We dined at this restaurant tonight. We were prompt for our reservation. The host seemed rushed, even though there was no one in the restaurant, as it was early by Florence standards. Our waitress was helpful and attentive. Our food was really just fine. The...More

We were a table of five. We ordered the tasting menu with samples of salad, pasta and steak. For the five of us we shared three orders of each. Food was out of this world. Gnocchi melted in your mouth, risotto was so creamy and...More

Nice setting for this restaurant. Our experience may have been atypical, but the service was so slow that we had to walk out. We ordered the family style option, with a variety of salads, pastas and protein (beef). Our waiter was helpful and knowledgeable about...More

I had read the reviews about the restaurant before we went to Italy. We went here the night before returning home. We picked a variety of dishes, in order to share and enjoy many of their offerings. The pasta with the avocado and cranberries was...More

Where do I even begin! Another one of my favorite places in all of Florence. Just a couple minutes away front Palazzo Vecchio, this authentic Italian restaurant serves fantastic pasta. I order the pasta samples, which consists of several mini pasta dishes with unique and...More

When we were told about this place, we were told to try the "Blueberry" steak. Filetto al mirtillo nero is a classic florentine filet steak cooked in a sauce of blueberries. There is also a slight acidic flavor to compliment (probably from balsamic vinegar). The...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city

We did not have a reservation but got lucky. If you really want to enjoy this place, I'd consider making reservations as soon as you know you will be in town.
