I tell everyone about this place - I would have never known about it if it wasnt for my husband who grew up in Florence. You will need to take a car to get there - it is up a steep, winding road at the top of a hill overlooking Florence. The view on the drive up is incredible. Most... More

We initiated Valentines lunch with the waiter bringing us the wrong wine (substantially lower quality than ordered) and immediately opened the bottle without presenting it to us. We ordered a 2009 Riserva but received a 2011 that was stock quality with an American-bound label. Immediate delusion. The bistecca was tough and cold in the middle. My husband asked for a... More

A beautiful location with great food. I had some great antipasti and rosemary and wine tagliata here. Also the staff is very friendly. I'd definetely recommend this beautiful hidden gem.

Super friendly service, free limoncello, local products used in the meals, good selection. As vegetarians, our choices are often limited and we don't get the best of what a restaurant has to offer. At Il Feriolo, we were able to sample a regional specialty (handmade tortolini with pecorino cheese and pears) and then a huge platter of mixed fried veggies.... More

For a restaurant in the middle of nowhere this place is amazing! Value for money is outstanding, especially the set menu....but don't order this unless u are really hungry. :) Could not fault this place.

The food was delicious, wine was great and the place itself is very cozy. I was surprised that they did not have any pizza. :)

We had some of our best meals in Italy in this charming restaurant up the hill from Casa Palmira B & B. The veal chop was the best I have had anywhere period! The beef filet were consistently delicious as were the pasta dishes. The only complaint we had was the restaurant was too brightly lit which detracted form it's... More

I have been there several times and I have never been disappointed: the quality of the food is amazing, state of art of tuscan cuisine, the service is perfect and the location is beautiful, a former fortified convent. I especially recommend the gnudi (ravioli without pasta), the meat in general and the cakes (a special mention: the lemon sponge cake!).... More
