We spent 4 nights and 5 days in Florence. This is the only restaurant we went to twice. Excellent service, food was truly a work of art. If I lived near I would eat here everyday.

We had a wonderful dinner at Accademia on June 5th. Our waiter, Kush, was awesome! Very attentive (and cute!) and so kind to my daughter, whose birthday was the next day. He brought out a piece of cake to her and sang happy birthday and...More

We received a recommendation from a couple who we bumped into in Castelmuzio (Simon) at a different restaurant so we sallied forth to Florence and tried out Accademia. The food and service were OUTSTANDING. The owner was fantastic and very welcoming. The menu choices were...More

What a fantastic find, and  just a few doors from my apartment!  A large, reasonably priced menu; friendly, efficient wait staff; delicious food and decent house wine (3 euro/glass). On my first visit, a caprese salad, spaghetti meatballs, wine, water and coperto came to 32.5€....More

Inconspicuous gem restaurant. The best ever rabbit smoked olives 12 hours cooked. Lasagna was the best I ever had. Crusty she'll with meaty inside and cream white sauce was just so interesting. They have a whole floor of a wine cellar upstairs. The wine paired...More

We ordered from their "specials" menu they put in front of us along with the regular menu. Figured they were proud of their specials and heard others rave about their lasagna so we ordered the seafood lasagna. When it was served it was not attractive...More

Rating mostly for the food. We had linguini with clams and spaghetti. My linguini was cold and the spaghetti was flavorless. They served fried bread rolls which was nice and also champagne if you were waiting to be seated. For me that did not make...More

We made a point to have a few meals here on our latest return to Firenze, mostly to see our pal who works there, but also to have something different to eat. I was not disappointed (my wife was less than thrilled with the lamb...More

Lovely little restaurant. Busy with locals. Nice house wine and well priced. Starters slightly overpriced but the brasaola was delicious. The crispy lasagne was delicious but again I found if you ate three courses you would spend £50 and the food wasn’t fine dining and...More

San Marco
The pleasant atmosphere of this residential area, a
stone’s throw away from the Duomo of Florence,
surprises everyone. A continuous flow of backpacking
students provides the tranquil surroundings for the
elderly residents who sit in Piazza San Marco to read
the daily newspaper. Home to several universities,
including the Academy of Fine Arts, San Marco is one
of the most vibrant cultural centers in the city. A
