The best steak we've ever eaten!!! Honestly! Being our first meal out in Italy we were a bit stressed but the atmosphere and the waiter (not to mention an excellent owner, who was a real character) made it a great experience! But above all - THE FOOD! The beef carpaccio with truffles and the steak were divine! You absolutely must... More

We had the great opportunity to dine for lunch at Osteria Dei Pazzi. We had the fortune to find this place thanks to a local friends recommendation two years ago and the Osteria has been placed on our permanent "best" list ever since. What an amazing jewel in the heart of Florence. The owner sings his way through the restaurant... More

Great food, attentive service, good prices! Right on the corner of Lavatoi--just steps away from the Piazza Santa Croce. Wished we'd found it sooner.

My wife and I spend two to three months in Florence every year. We live on the south side of the Arno and never mind walking over for lunch or dinner. We visit at least once a week while there and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the owner is always in a great mood.... More

The only foreigners in a very much local haunt, but the food was great, service friendly and we would come back. Thank you for making a couple of Canadians feel very welcome.

A pearl we found! Very local, very sympathic – with a singing and charismatic chef. The simple and typical italian food we had for lunch was delicious. We would highly recommend it.

The food was great, but the service wasn't excellent.. But all in all a place worth visiting for some amazing pasta. Okay prices as well.

We ate here as a recommendation from a shop keeper. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered an artichoke salad that was simple and delicious then we had the grilled sea bass (delicious) and the chef's special. We enjoyed our meal and the quirky nature of the the singing owner.

a great place a bit off the main tourist circuit, with a warm welcome and a good choice of dishes. the singing waiter will recommend the house specials (as first dish, go for the house made ravioli with tuffels). we'll be here next evenings again. well worth the money.
