What an excellent experience, from the helpful staff (they squeezed us in without a reservation, then helped us figure out the menu and patiently explain what "primi piatti" means) to the fantastic food (the garlicky pasta alle vongole!). The singing owner was the cherry on the cake.

This restaurant was recommended by our host at the de Bench B&B and, like everything else, he did not let us down. Great meal, including a fantastic steak florentine, in an authentic local restaurant. The menu is only in Italian but one of the team happily translated for us. Good value with the added bonus of an owner who clearly... More

If you like to spend an evening in an Italian Restaurant and not in a Pizzeria it is the place to go. The Food is excellent to a very fair Price. for low Budget, they offer a Quality menue (16€). I had the T-bone Steak Florence style - perfectly prepared. Thank to the Team!

This place was absolutely delicious! My husband and I had spaghetti bolognese, carpaccio with a truffle sauce, a steak dish covered in bits of lard so fine they looked like chopped onion at first, and ravioli stuffed with ricotta in a butter and sage sauce. All amazing! I have to emphasize, however, that the menu is only in Italian, so... More

My wife and I found Pazzi after the restaurant recommended by our hotel was full. Very local flavor with traditional Tuscan menu. We loved the food. The owner was singing. A local family was celebrating a birthday. Some guys came in later to kick off a bachelor party. And a group of young couples showed up at 9:30 for dinner.... More

Went here for a bit of florentine steak after recommendation from the owner of another successful venue in Florence. The guests were mostly local people, which always is a good sign in cities with a high potensial for "tourist-traps". The ambience was very lively, and the staff welcomed every customer as an old friend. They spoke english very well, and... More

An absolute "home run". If you can't enjoy here, you cannot be pleased. All staff Fantastico! Hard pressed to find a better Steak Florentine, a must when in Florence. Pastas all way above average. Way above. Very pleasing experience, will be back.

The City was packed, but we were able to get in and out in under an hour. Our group tried several pasta dishes and specials. The pasta dishes and chicken were the favorites. We just had to push to get our bill which is normal here.

The best steak we've ever eaten!!! Honestly! Being our first meal out in Italy we were a bit stressed but the atmosphere and the waiter (not to mention an excellent owner, who was a real character) made it a great experience! But above all - THE FOOD! The beef carpaccio with truffles and the steak were divine! You absolutely must... More

We had the great opportunity to dine for lunch at Osteria Dei Pazzi. We had the fortune to find this place thanks to a local friends recommendation two years ago and the Osteria has been placed on our permanent "best" list ever since. What an amazing jewel in the heart of Florence. The owner sings his way through the restaurant... More
