We loved this bar on our recent visit to Florence, went every night of our stay due to the friendly staff and warm welcome. The cocktails tasted great and the staff were brilliant. Marco has to be the best barman in Italy!

A friend and I came to Florence for a few days away, the motive was to get cultured not to drink! But this charming bar won us over. The staff are attentive, lots of fun and make you feel comfortable. The cocktails rival the best I've had in the UK (and I drink a lot...) and the music and location... More

Get the impression that this is geared up more for night life and on that basis the cocktail/shot deals on offer would be very good and a decent overall drinks menu. However, not so much for a mid-afternoon coffee break. We were the only ones in there, the cute alcove we sat in was a haven for a few flies... More

We accidentally threw ourselves to this caffe due to a sudden storm. We loved the frappe drinks with ice cream flavors so much that we ordered two of each. Try it if you are around.

A cute place for coffee, the décor is nice. The gelato is decent but there are better places.

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
