We were the other night in this nice restaurant, we sat at the table outside in a romantic street, with candles and happy people. We ordered antipasto Da Lino, fresh pasta with truffles and fillet with green pepper, everything was perfect accompanied by a bottle...of excellent Tuscan wine. Hoping to come back soon, we greet the waitress Roberta.More

Decided to visit this place based on the good reviews on TripAdvisor and couldn't agree more. The menu offers both local specialties as more mainstream italian food, so there's a pick for everyone. Staff was super friendly, atmosphere in the restaurant is laid-back and not...too fancy. Would visit again!More

Friend of mine, local guy, suggested me to take my family out for a dinner at ristorante da Lino. We were more than excited. It's in the city centre, close to the Duomo, so it was easy to find it. The restaurant is nice and...elegant, but still traditional. We appreciate small tasting offer at the beginning. Waitresses was very kind and helpful with suggestions about food. We have "grand tagliere" and selections of cheese, together with "crostini misti". Excellent red wine suggested by another waiter. As a main course we choose bistecca alla fiorentina, but famous Chianina (special cow from the Toscan area), trust me there is a big difference about quality of meat. Some beans, salads, patatos and for the kids, home made lasagna and tagliatelle. Atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly, Italian music from the back. Restaurant was almost full, I suggested you to book in advance. We were very fool so we decided to skip a desert, but the waitress offered us a limoncello and one piece of "torta della nonna" to try (it was sooo delicious). That was a nice touch. It was good value for money and we will definitely come back again. Thanks for everything we had a great time and dinner at your lovely restaurant! Highly recommended!More

They suggest very expensive wines but they only tell you the prices if you ask for it. We asked for a moderate-priced wine, but even then they suggest a very expensive wine (70 euro for a bottle). They want to make as much as possible...money from tourists. Food is ok, but not that good. We left the restaurant disappointed.More

As lunch time arrived, I was looking for a typical Italian restaurant.´Da Lino´offered me everything I could have wished. From the small starter offered by the house to the espresso and of course the limoncello, my expectations were undoubtedly reached.

da Lino is located off the main roads and offers accordingly lovely outdoor tables. Service is extremely friendly and attentive without being pushy. (NOT typical for centro storico in Florence). Food and prices are honest. Food quality is very good and meat qualy is certainly...top. We would not hesitate to stop by on a stroll through the city and enjoy a casual lunch here anytime again. Da Lino serves lunch also "IN BETWEEN" the usual lunch and dinner times. Very flexible.More

A pleasant experience: This year we were at the "Da Lino" for the first time and are thrilled: Friendly, attentive service, very good food and (despite virus prevention) a cosy atmosphere. We will be back again!

Went here with my girlfriend on a short trip to Florence. Was looking for somewhere to try the renowned Florentine style steak and was not disappointed. Meat was delicious and expertly cooked. My girlfriend had the seafood pasta and was similarly impressed. However, the attentive...and friendly service throughout was the main highlight. Couldn’t recommend more!More
