This locals restaurant has friendly staff and local customers. The menu is varied with lots of Pizzas and seafood/ pasta dishes. The wine selection is good with local house wine sold by the carafe

The food is delicious. I am in love with the pizzas, lemon sorbet and zuppa inglese (it's not a soup, but a dessert).

Tripadvisor helped us to find this place when we were looking for diner close to our hotel. The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The patron and his staff did their utmost to make this evening truly unforgettable. Highly recommended - we will definitely come back!

I wish I had found this restaurant before my final night in Florence. I had a ticket for the Fiorentina match so it was a very hurried dinner but I would have eaten there more if I had found the place sooner! I had the best Calzone I have ever eaten and a half litre of their excellent house red... More

This place is one of them where you need to visit yourself! It's not much to look at but the food is amazing and the bar staff are also lovely. When the bill come I had to check it twice as I thought they left something out but no... It's creat for such a lovely place.

The owner of the B&B we stayed recommended this. And it is really great! There is no English menu, but the waitress was quite nice and helpful. We really enjoy this place.

We had a lovely casual dinner here, very reasonably priced and the pizza was incredible. As we found repeatedly in Florence, courses were huge, but we were able to take our left over pizza back with us in a takeaway box. A bottle of homemade limoncello appeared at our table and we stayed even longer enjoying the pretty church in... More

Our first experience dining out in Italy. The waitress was lovely; very friendly and helpful and offered us some nice suggestions based on her favourites. Spoke English well. We had a gorgonzola fusilli dish and a truffle pizza (covered with huge shards of truffle!), as well as 500ml of white wine and a few shots of icy cold limoncello to... More

LOVED IT. GREAT Value! I wish we had places like this in Canada..We found this hideen gem because our airbnb host recommended that we go there, after having asked them which place offers the best italian meal in town ( on a budget). I couldn't believe how inexpensive everything was, even more after getting our meals and seeing how generous... More

If you've suffered the travails of finding your way to the next-door Museum of the Cenacolo di San Salvi you'll want somewhere good for lunch, and this fitted the bill for us. Interesting range of dishes well away from any usual tourist fare, good prices and a helpful and friendly welcome.
