We were hungry after seeing Michelangelo's David and walked by here. TripAdvisor didn't disappoint yet again. Great food that started with delicious bruschetta and prosciutto plate. 6 of us all got different items from traditional favorites like spaghetti pomodoro w basil and gnocchi to pappardelle w wild boar. Place was very busy and service was a little slow but not... More

My family and I stumbled into this little restaurant and it was fabulous. It's a small place -- maybe 12 tables. The food was absolutely excellent, the service was great and the price was amazing. We are a family of six and with dessert and wine, our bill was less than $140 Euros. Definitely a winner!

When in Italy i somehow have a hard time liking the food that i pick. Even those that seem to be liked by alot of locals and tourists. However, this place has changed what i think about italian food in italy. I loved the pasta and the dessert that I got. I am actually currently on my 2nd visit in... More

Nice restaurant - pasta was ok but I think the egg had separated in the carbonara so it wasn't as smooth the sauce. Dessert pannacotta was nice probably too much chocolate topping. Overall nice evening- not the best dinner we have had in Italy so far.

We were looking for a place to have steak Florentine for lunch, and we discovered this place. Are we glad we did! The steak Florentine was delicious, but the real surprise was the pici, a thick pasta from Sienna. This was the only place we found in Florence that served pici, and the "cacio e pepe" ("cheese and pepper") served... More

We had crostini toscani con fegatini as a starter: delicious, definitely recommended! It followed a 1.2kg fiorentina steak to share in two: cooked to perfection but not as tender as I was expecting. Very nice roasted potatoes on the side. We also had two generous glasses of red wine (nothing special but not bad either) and two coffees. Total, 70€.... More

Met Daniella, one of the wonderful owners of this charming restaurant. The passion for food and for the family owned restaurant is evident as she spoke with us. They were extremely welcoming and catered to my partners gluten free needs. Absolutely recommended!

This restaurant was recommended in our guide book. However, it is not typical for Tuscan food and for sure not gourmet food as claimed on their website. You can have better food in some Italian diner in the US. It is centrally located though on Via Guelfa and is fairly priced for Florence. So, nothing spectacular with ok service and... More
