This was less than 100m from where we were staying. Sadly we'd walked past it the previous evening and fell prey to one of the tourist traps nearby. However, we savvied up, referred to Trip Advisor and had a much better meal for half the price of the evening befores mediocre meal on uncomfortable seats. The staff at Palazzo Tempi... More

This is the best pasta we've eaten ever. Everything from the appetizers to the tiramisu was perfect. The place is nice, not too big so you can have a quiet dinner and they have a good selection of wines. The pasta is amazing, they've got every plate you can imagine. We ordered spaghetti , papardelle, gnocchi and pici. Also, the... More

If you are going to be around Ponte Vecchio, try this restaurant! It looks a little bit posh from outside but it's awesome! We tried rice & pasta and it was delicious! The main dishes are not expensive. The only expensive are drinks! Glass of wine 5€ Btw, dont order a lot of food, portions are big!

We had early dinner here after arriving in late afternoon. Most salads, pastas were 12 euros; pizzas were 9-12 euros. With 2 glasses of wine and large sparkling water, a caprese salad, octopus salad and a mixed seafood pasta, total bill was 49 euros. I took home half of my pasta. Service was efficient with English menu for us. Restaurant... More

We went there by recommendation from our Airbnb host and it turned out to be very good. We were dead tired from 10 hours of travelling, so we only chose some Antipasti and Primo, but both my Carpaccio and the pasta dish with Lobster were very good. My only minor complaint (even though I might not have gone for it)... More

Our first night in Florence and we immediately hit pay dirt with this place. No pretensions, just good, cheap food served quickly and courteously by friendly staff. Oh, and for just €22 the Villa Calcinaia Chianti Classico was bloody brilliant. Spent more at posher places but none could match it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful starting with our young server Flávio. Got a no reservation table about 8:30 and they were soon filled up. Reasonable wine by the glass. Enjoyable meal.

Met 2 plot her couples for dinner. Appetizer, pizza and risotto was the food for the night. The pizza with fresh vegetables was extremely good and the risotto was prepared just right. Excellent service. All for 33€ per couple including s nice bolgherie wine... Try it

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
