This was the first gelateria I visited in Florence. It was on the way from our hotel to the Duomo and very convenient, and despite its proximity to the Duomo, it was hidden enough that there weren't many people crowding around it. You can get two flavours for a very reasonable €1.50, and I got pistachio and strataciella. The gelato... More

Beginning to think it is hard to find bad gelato!! Opted for cheesecake and pistachio....pistachio faultless, cheesecake a little dull. However with so many other flavours worth going back for seconds!!

There are gelaterie all over Florence, but this small one is quite special. A great range of delicious and some unusual flavours. Not that far a stroll from the duomo.

Small, and on a side street, but of you are staying at one of the many small hotels on Via Nationale near SMN train station then this is convenient for you. Hand made gelato, just a few flavors, but excellent quality. Euro 1.50 and up...so good value. A few seats are provided inside.

Amazing gelato. Been to four or five in Florence and this was prob the second best one we had. The dulce de Leche flavor was amazing as well as the cheesecake flavor. Highly recommend.

Great gelato choices and big portions for the money you spend. Would definitely recommend buying a tub rather than a cone. I tried the dark chocolate, peanut and stracciatella flavour, all of which were delicious and extremely creamy.

Over the years we have visited this gelateria many many times. This week we visited 3 times just after we had our dinner. We have tried almost all the tastes and no disappointments. We don't hesitate to revisit when we come back.

We are in Florence every year and we still have not found a better gelateria. A local family owned gelato shop where its made in the back.
