It's not my first time here, last time it was more than 2years ago and I can't believe it's still good as I remember. We were 2 at the table in a nice and warm room that makes you feel like at home (an italian home of course). We started with "Sformatino di melanzane" truly gorgeous!! then we had "Ravioli... More

We had an early reservation for 19:30 and the place was quiet. But by 8 we were surrounded by other guests which was lovely. Atmosphere, service and food superb. I'd had told the owner that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they made our evening very special. Lots of locals and a few tourists all enjoying this little jem.... More

A wee off the beaten path. We had to take a cab but it was well worth it. They are the opposite of Italian American and just deeply rooted Firenzens. Get the local dishes and enjoy.

Where do I begin? Went to Pandemonio with a friend who has been many times. We were treated like family. The food and service were outstanding. Not to mention....Fun. We ended up closing the restaurant with another table of locals and tourists from Brazil. We shared Grappa and Limoncello and had lots of laughs. Francesco and Bobbo were fantastic, warm... More

I can see why this restaurant has a good rating with Tripadvisor. It seems mean to write an average review when the welcome is so warm and the atmosphere so friendly. However, the food is not great. Stew with lukewarm mash..no style. Not very fine apple sorbet. One of us had the octopus which she liked, but otherwise this is... More

Mama didn't welcome us right away...but she came by eventually. We didn't have menus, so she whacked the seating person on the face with her order book (in the way only an Italian mama can do without getting in trouble) and proceeded to tell us he was bad today. We loved having her sense of humor and it was infectious,... More

Went with the recommandation from the bar on Piazza Tasso. The food was good without being great. Basic tuscan fare with not so basic prices. Vino della casa, mixed salat, pasta with beans and sausacge, chicken in marsala, fried chicken with artichokes and a bottle of water. Startes where good. But main courses where dissapointing. Chicken was a large breast... More
