After a week of bread and yogurt, we needed a bit more sustenance to keep us going so we ate here and it was everything we needed. The jam is also delicious and not a commercial type of jam, a nice touch to complete breakfast. The orange juice is also really good. You can eat inside or outside and we... More

Nice selection of breakfast/brunch dishes, friendly service and very nice atmosphere. Haven't tried the dinner menu, but it looked nice as well. Would definitely recommend!

This place was a great find after being in Europe for two weeks. The breakfast was American and the coffee was refilled for free. The staff was so nice. Highly recommended.

The Best hamburgers in Florence, great attention and fair prices. The American breakfast it's kind of expensive but tasty and the eggs and bacon sandwich is good but at that price it's better to order an hamburger.

We searched for this place because we were longing some food from home. It sure hit the spot!! We ordered strawberry pancakes, the Greek and Western omelette & the Slider plate. Everything was super delicious!! Thank you for the wonderful dinner and letting us have a taste of home while in Florence. Everyone was super friendly and helpful with suggestions.

Great if you want some good typical diner food. It's the closest thing you're going to find to "American food" in Florence. As an American, it was a much needed break from all the pizza and pasta. I recommend the burgers and chicken!!

The Diner sits on a back street in Firenze (Florence), Italy. Operated by an American from Atlanta and a Canadian from Toronto, it serves up a hearty and delicious breakfast in a town where a pastry and a tiny cup of espresso are the rule. I ate there only twice because no one outside of one tabacci seemed to know... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
