I had such a great experience at Osteria dell'Osso. The staff was very friendly to me, with both the waiters and chefs checking in on me. The food was outstanding, I ordered a the chicken parmigiana and was certainly not disappointed, with some cheesecake for desert that was also excellent! I loved my meal here.

If you are looking for a lovely setting for a meal then I would not recommend this as your place to eat. However, a lot of places where you do have the views will hike the prices and the food not be so good. This is exactly one of those places where it may not be the prettiest part of the city but the food is amazing! And the prices reasonable. My only feedback is I am unsure why the uncooked spaghetti was put in the fridge pasta dish? I would highly recommend as a reasonably priced eat in Florence.

This restaurant was great. Really. It's that simple. We were looking around the area near the market debating a few possibilities and decided on going here really as a matter of luck. And lucky it was. It's a variation on a traditional theme with just a few simple twists of modernisation. The food, service, attention to detail were all absolutely top. Everyone working is younger and enthusiastic about what they do. It's welcoming and just a fun place to be. The pasta with wild boar ragu was a fantastic start and the steak, just perfect. This is coming from someone who normally avoids red meat. It was that good. We would go back without a doubt. Absolutely worth checking out.

Two things that an Italian steakhouse really should be able to do: 1) cook a steak, and 2) cook pasta. This restaurant failed on both accounts. Overall, felt like a semi-legitimate restaurant crossed with a tourist trap. Had a beef fillet with mushroom sauce, carbonara pasta, lasagne, and tiramisu for dinner. While none of the dishes were terrible - the steak was overcooked and tasted pre-frozen, the pasta was undercooked (however, the sauce was tasty), the lasagne was cold in the middle and lacked substance, and the tiramisu was pleasant but had way too much cream. Service was pretty meh as well, we'd waited so long that we'd wondered if they'd forgotten our meals, and the service staff were not particularly friendly / sociable. They also whack a cover charge on the bill at the end (with no heads up). Would avoid / wouldn't recommend.

Stayed in Florence for 2nights to celebrate NYE and we only went to this place to have dinner for those 2 nights. Everything was on point and service is on TOP staff is really friendly its an open kitchen and you can see how much passion they put to cook an amazing food truly amazing chefs always smiles too. This has to be one of the best place i’ve been for really good food not to mention Crostini and Filetto is a must to try. We love everything about this restaurant and we can’t wait to be back. Highly recommended. Thank you for lovely dinner.❤️

A friend and I had lunch at the Osteria dell’osso and we had a great time. We ordered two first courses: tagliolini with porcini mushrooms (13€) and ravioli with truffles (19€), both very good. The service was great from the first moment, the waiter was very kind and courteous meeting our every request. We then ordered a chocolate cake (9€), also the very good one. All for a total of € 56 including drinks and covered. The restaurant offers typical dishes of the area. We really enjoyed the area where it is located being very close to the central squares (5 minutes walk) but a bit 'away from the crowd so we had the opportunity to eat with great tranquility and especially without haste. Another plus point is the menu hanging outside the venue that provides the opportunity to get an idea of what will be proposed inside the venue. Super recommended, definitely to go back!!

We came here for the florentine steak which was a bit of a disappointment. There wasn’t much flavor to the steak and it was a little tough to chew. However we also got some other dishes such as the mushroom risotto which was delicious! I would come back but would skip the steak next time.

In the, alas, tourist heart of Florence, this beautiful place. As a Florentine I don't go to many places in the center because I prefer the well-known ones. The waiters were welcoming, what I didn't like was the quality of the food, cold cuts far below par, cheeses not up to par, risotto passable but tasteless.

We stumbled across this restaurant whilst sight seeing and went back for dinner. The wild boar ragu and tiramisu was the best meal I have eaten in Italy! The waiters were very friendly and the wine was great. The social distancing rules were respected and we felt very welcomed and safe. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Restaurant , very informative and helpful staff. We were able to see the actual piece of Steak before it was cooked and it tasted delicious, The Chianti also complemented the meal perfectly, all in all a very nice experience. Would highly recommend the food and the staff

This restaurant located near the market square really satisfied us. The environment is simple and doesn't have many seats inside so I recommend booking. We chose the Tuscan menu which includes a starter of cured meats and a Tuscan bruschetta, 1 glass of wine each and a Florentine steak which was shown to us before it was cooked with a side dish of roasted potatoes. One menu is for 2 people. Everything excellent! The meat was tasty and cooked rare as requested. The cured meats are also excellent. Perfect service and very friendly staff. Price more than honest. We will happily return!

First, this place was hard to find. It's located near the main market, but Google maps had trouble pinpointing the location. Best to look for the corner of Via Panicale and Via Chiara, then head towards the market . It will be on your left. Initial service seemed somewhat curt, but once we had been there a while they seemed to warm to us. We had the Tuscan special which is a HUGE T-bone, plus potatoes--definitely enough to split between two, though we did see some people eat it on their own. Lots of meat, but it was not especially tender, nor was there much flavor. The place itself is very cute, and very intimate. It would be a good spot for a romantic dinner. I would just choose something other than the steak.

We went twice, because the first visit was excellent. And we were not disappointed with the second two days later ! We have ordered several meat dishes - all were excellent, also Artishokes suffle was very delicious. Staff was very attentive and kind, English speaking, and with good sense of humour.

My best friend and I visited Florence this month, March 2024 and ate dinner at OSTERIA DELL’OSSO. We had the truffle ravioli and it was simply amazing. It is a small restaurant but the atmosphere is perfect for a chill night out with friends, family , or even a date night. Others also seemed to enjoy their meals. The prices are very reasonable and they have a good selection of wines available. Be sure to visit the next time you are in Florence!

This restaurant you have to visit when in Florence. The service, atmosphere and food is superb. We ate there twice in put 4 night stay. You have to have the Florentine steak - absolutely amazing. They usually like to cook medium rare - it is rare. I usually eat mine in UK medium rare. We asked for our steak at Dell Osso to be medium/Well done and it was good. I highly recommend this place. You will need to book
