Interesting location between the Academia and the Duomo, where I suspect that the people who work in the area come for a good meal and find it We don’t usually eat big lunches so bruschetta and crostini are enough for us Would have been a...More

The Oliandolo Caffe Ristoro was only a block from where we were staying in Florence, and since it opened at 8 a.m., it was a great place for breakfast. We could order bacon and eggs and a very nice toasted ham & cheese sandwich. The...More

It was so difficult for us to find a restaurant who was not only open in the mornings but who served bacon and eggs. Oliandolo Cafe was not only open, but they served bacon and eggs and delicious cappuccinos for reasonable prices. If you are...More

Walking toward Academia from the Duomo, we really didn’t expect to find a reasonably priced restaurant along Via Ricasoli, the main route between those tourist magnets, but after a couple of peeks into windows of eateries without business I had given up , but spouse...More

This establishment serves good simple tuscan food. It is used by locals for their lunch break and therefore caters for quick food and service. It is also ideal for those tourists who have a lot of places to visit in a short space of time...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
