The establishment appeared impressive, with favorable reviews prompting my interest to visit. After making a reservation, there was a delay in seating and a lack of acknowledgment from the staff. The atmosphere created by the staff was unwelcoming and distant, leaving us feeling unappreciated. Despite...this, we proceeded to order the steak, which unfortunately lacked flavour and required significant seasoning. The portion size was small for a meal meant to be shared, and the overall cost was high. Service was lacking in efficiency and speed, with a server even commenting gratuity not being included. In response, I acknowledged this fact and decided not to leave a tip.More

We are here on a Saturday night, busy restaurant & rightly so as the food & wine choices were exceptional, as were the staff. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic evening. Very nice food and wine. Selected the wine on the advice of the waiter, who really know the wines. We booked a second diner immediately

When in Florence we always head for this restaurant , it has a most pleasant ambiance and the service is first class . We enjoyed as starters a mixed green salad and the mozzarella , then the veal chop with spinach … the latter cooked...to perfection . A nice bottle of wine to enjoy the eveningMore

Of the many dishes we ate during our 18-day trip to Italy, this restaurant served one of the best, a hand-rolled ravioli. Not your typical ravioli, marked off into squares with crimped edges; not that there's anything wrong with that, but the lightness of the...pasta in this version and the ricotta filling were unlike anything I've ever seen or tasted. There's pasta, and there's pasta; there's ricotta, and there's ricotta. Absolutely splendid, and so were the glass of Chianti and the antipasti. Unfortunately, like many places in tourist-ridden Florence, the atmosphere felt chilly. It was as if we foreigners had to be contained, somehow, kept separate. It didn't happen in so many words, just an attitude--and we never experienced this in Emilia-Romagna, where we went after Florence. As far as a place to eat, Parione is tops. But I'm not sure I'd go there again.More

Located on a quiet side street near the Arno, it is attractive and cozy. The staff were great and explained the typical Tuscan dishes in detail. The vegetarian appetizers were creative and quite a treat. The pasta is made in house and is excellent as...well.More

One of the best meals we had in Florence. It was easy to get a reservation (we went in the fall) and probably was required, seeing how busy the place was. Our waiter was helpful and patient. The food was just great. A must go....Taste: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price: 5 (5 being the best)More

Parione is excellent. I couldn't get a table for dinner before 9:30 on a few days notice, so I went for lunch at 1pm. My meal was superb; service was very friendly. I left quite happy and eager to dine here again.

By far, this was our most favorite restaurant and most delicious meal during our week in Florence. My sweetheart and I shared Florentine steak, and it was outstanding. Our group was there to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and while everyone had rave reviews for their...dishes, we think we had the best meal. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the wine selections were very good. Staff surprised our friend with birthday song and dessert. It was a really great time. I should add that our friends had Florentine steak at other places later in the week but none compared to the preparation at this restaurant.More

Spectacular restaurant! Myself, husband and two sons (24 & 21) had the best dinner here. A truly warm welcome on arrival and superb service. Excellent appetizers, but the truffle gnocchi, tagliatelle ragu and Florentine steak were beyond sublime. Wine list is extensive and focuses on...local wines which we loved and were expertly guide by our server. Ambiance and restaurant interior fantastic. An absolute must in Firenze.More
